• If this is your first time requesting accommodations through Inclusion Services, you will need to complete either a phone intake or an Accommodation Form that can be sent over email. This process is to help determine what level of accommodation needed for the participant.

• Future assistance will be provided based on need. The inclusion staff will work with the instructor on how to support you and your individual needs.

GOLF Golf Instructor Larry Fleckenstein

Larry has been playing golf since 1968. This is his 14th year providing senior golf instruction at Eastmoreland Golf Course. Larry has successfully participated in local & statewide OGA, & Senior PGA events. Formerly, as a club member at Heron Lakes G.C., he was an 8-time Senior Club Champion, & was the first player to win the Overall Club Championship & the Senior Club Championship in the same year. Also, Larry won the Clark County Senior Invitational tournament (gross). In 1998, Larry finished second (gross) in the International World Masters Golf tournament held in Portland.

Three years later he finished fourth in Australia at Royal Melbourne Golf Course World Masters.

Larry is well known as a player & an instructor. He has two program goals: 1. learn to look like a golfer, and 2. have fun when golfing.

Primary Pick Up Location: 82nd & Siskiyou. Park facing 82nd. Meet 15 minutes prior to departure time. If indicated, certain hikes will have a second pickup location. Hikers meeting there must have a cell phone number on file & be available by phone the morning of the hike.

Astoria Cruise Day Adventure

Meet us there! Board the Portland Spirit for an epic, 60-mile luxury cruise down the Willamette & Columbia Rivers to Astoria. Holladay Park is located on the east side of Portland in the Lloyd District. A large public gathering space with plaza and grassy areas, this park offers respite for neighbors and is centrally located for busy commuters. The Holladay Park Partnership connects with neighbors, community stakeholders, and PP&R to positively activate Holladay Park by offering daily activities, weekly programming, and special events for all ages during Spring Break and from June 1 through Labor Day anually.

Programs include trips, art, cooking, dance, fitness and sports, and music.

With 50 community gardens located throughout the city, the Community Gardens program provides gardening opportunities, plus lifestyle benefits, residents in Portland. Developed and operated by volunteers and PP&R staff, this robust program offers individuals and families a place to grow their own healthy food. Plots are assigned to new gardeners for each summer season in February, March and April, and continue through June as plots are available. Plots are assigned on a first-come, firstserved basis.
