CUSTOM YOU RETAIL PROJECT The goal of this project is to create a brand, with the help of team members of different majors you will create an Omni-Channel Retail Concept. Product/service and final retail concept is completely your group’s choice, but should be a forward-thinking and innovative retail solution. I then worked by myself to finish putting in the components and changing it around until the space flowed. The materials really added to the space and made it come alive. I also did research on the trends with the help of Layne and put together the annotated floor plan for a better understanding of the space. I am in studio I so, this is my first commercial project. While I am still in the learning stage I think this is one of my best renderings in my college career yet. This project really taught me to look at the full scope of the project and how many people it takes for different parts of the project to get done. I learned a lot working with a group and bouncing ideas off of each other until we agreed on certain design decisions. All people in group were consulted about any major design decision

As a group we decided to separate the clothes by color versus materials. We have 4 materials on the racks with one in each size such as XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL. The rack closest to the window and mannequins are the latest trends. We thought this was a good move because as soon as you walk in the door the most popular items are on the rack to showcase. We also researched what the trending colors of this season are which include indigo blue, army green, clay, red, lilac, and fuchsia. The colors below are the trending colors listed above. The rest of the racks are our most popular colors as well as the colors of our brand.

YOU MEDIA YOUTH CENTER LIBRARY You-media has decided to expand its digital learning program to locations throughout the Midwest. You will design a teen space focused on digital learning at one of the Milwaukee Public Library locations. The library has identified approximately 3000 SF of space on the second floor that will be the future home for this project. This is a space where teens can hang out, get help with homework, experiment with design software in a range of disciplines, record music, and participate in a variety of digital media activities and workshops. Design Statement: The newly renovated Milwaukee Public Library will convey a collaborative and team oriented space that facilitates an inviting and inclusive environment for the community to gather. By using color and organic texture inspired by nature the YOU Media center will fulfill a refreshing space for everyone.
