Rolling Start

PORSCHE WILLOUGHBY - 911% PORSCHE FOR OVER 55 YEARS.

OThe past few months at PCW have been nothing short of exciting. Our new Artarmon facility is very much a work in progress, and I’m eagerly looking forward to the day we can officially share all that it will offer. The Porsche Approved Service Centre (PASC) will be the first and only one of its kind in Australia — a place where we’ll be able to service your Porsche and offer a range of Porsche Approved Used Vehicles, all in one visit.

We’re anticipating a fully integrated fleet of 30 service loan cars, including Macan, Cayenne, 718 Boxster, and 718 Cayman models, designed to make your visits as seamless and convenient as possible. Imagine the Porsche Platz Café serving St. Ali coffee alongside fresh fruit and healthy snacks, turning every visit into a little treat. Even now, as the facility takes shape, we’re particularly proud of the progress on the front showroom, which will house sales, lifestyle products area, aftersales team, and café. We can’t wait to welcome you properly later this year at the official launch hopefully on the weekend of December 6th!

We also recently said goodbye to Bonita Jones, our outgoing Events and Marketing Manager, who did an exceptional job during her time at PCW. I will personally miss her ability to read my mind and deliver outstanding results. She’s embarked on an open-ended European adventure — so if you bump into her on an Italian beach, do say hello! Taking over the role is Ashley Robinson, our new Marketing and Events Coordinator. New to the role, she’s quickly proving herself with fresh initiative and a determined focus on keeping our client events running seamlessly.

Looking back, it’s been remarkable to watch the final run of ICE-powered Macan models find their way into the hands of enthusiasts and clients around the world. Since its debut, the Macan has not only expanded Porsche’s SUV portfolio but also cemented the brand’s position as a global leader in luxury performance vehicles. Its mix of everyday usability, driving

engagement, and unmistakable Porsche character helped drive record sales across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The combustion Macan holds a special place in Porsche’s story — uniting driving pleasure with everyday use — and this issue reflects on its role as the model steps into its electric future.

We’re also thrilled to be featuring the extraordinary world of Porsche Sonderwunsch in this issue. From the first reveal to the final details, these one-of-a-kind cars capture the passion, craftsmanship, and personal stories of their owners. You’ll get an inside look at the design process — from colour choices and bespoke interiors to the emotions of seeing a dream realised. With creations ranging from a Speedster paying homage to decades of 911 history or a 911 Dakar built for adventure and family, this feature shows how Sonderwunsch transforms cars into deeply personal creations — and why the journey is just as remarkable as the car itself.

The new customer 911 race cars have also dropped, sure to thrill track-focused enthusiasts. On a particularly special note, we feature Paul recently taking delivery of his 911 Dakar — a moment we were delighted to share with him at the Willoughby dealership. We’ll be sharing more of these memorable experiences from Namibia in the coming issues when I have taken 11 clients on Safari in a Porsche DAKAR !

It’s an incredible time to be part of the Porsche community, and we look forward to sharing more stories, cars, and experiences with you as the year continues.

Always a good time to drop by and say hello

FINAL LAP THE ICE MACAN’S JOURNEY

2015 TO 2024

Across three evolutions from 2015 to 2024, Porsche’s first compact SUV redefined performance in its segment — and now we say farewell, as the Macan’s internal-combustion chapter closes and a new fully electric era begins.

"The first-generation Macan proved you could have Porsche DNA in an SUV — and still feel every corner."

95B.1 2015 - 2018

MACAN

"With over 50 orders for the Macan S and Macan Turbo taken already and more expected, we need to make way for this increased volume by adding a 3rd level onto our dealership. PCW is investing over $4m in renovations to ultimately enhance your Porsche experience."

THE EARLIEST MACANS (KNOWN AS 95B.1, 2015–2018)

Porsche’s first compact SUV arrives, combining sports car handling with everyday usability.

Petrol and diesel options, including the potent Macan Turbo.

Early models feature the original infotainment system and more analogue cabin layout.

Highlight: Dynamic chassis tuning makes it the “driver’s SUV” from day one.

To kick start 2014 our W magazine featured a special 5 page article on our all new Porsche Macan range. You may understand why there is so much anticipation for the June 14th release of this Sports Utility Vehicle after reading some of the many reviews such as:

‘Macan: a new class king? At the moment it looks that way’ – Drive.com.au

‘The all-new Macan will re-write the performance rulebook for small SUV’s’ – Wheels Magazine 2014

‘Macan: The school run suddenly got exciting!’ – Pistonheads

FACELIFT 2019 - 2021

MACAN

THE FACELIFTED MACANS (KNOWN AS 95B.2, 2019–2021)

Mid-life facelift with sharper front and rear styling.

New 10.9-inch Porsche Communication Management touchscreen replaces the old unit.

Updated engines improve both efficiency and performance.

Highlight: The facelifted Macan Turbo reaches 0–100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds with Sport Chrono.

The wider stance, sculpted front end, and striking three-dimensional LED light panel across the rear add presence and poise. Four new colours — Mamba Green Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Miami Blue, and Crayon — invite a more personal expression.

Inside, the transformation is immediate. The redesigned 10.9-inch Porsche Communication Management display dominates the dash, seamlessly integrating navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Porsche Connect services.

Built at Porsche’s Leipzig plant, the new Macan arrives in Australia from $81,400 with more standard features than ever — including LED main headlights, 14-way comfort seats, ParkAssist with Surround View, and the full Navigation Plus system.

The Macan’s heart remains its defining quality — an SUV that drives like a sports car. The retuned chassis brings agility and comfort.

When Porsche first entered the compact SUV segment, it rewrote expectations for what such a vehicle could feel like to drive. Now, with this next evolution, the Macan sharpens its sporting edge while embracing the latest in comfort, design, and technology.

SECOND FACELIFT 2022 - 2024

Widely regarded as the ICE Macan’s high point. Subtle exterior changes, including revised bumpers and fresh wheel designs, kept the look contemporary, while retaining the muscular stance that had become its signature.

THE 2ND FACELIFT MACANS (KNOWN AS 95B.3, 2022–2024)

Final refresh before the EV era.

Interior updated with haptic-touch controls and improved materials.

Line-up reshuffled, with GTS becoming the flagship performance model.

Highlight: The Macan GTS delivers 324 kW and sharper handling than ever, marking the ICE Macan’s peak.

The final evolution of the first-generation Macan was also its most refined. Launched in 2022, the 95B.3 introduced a cleaner interior layout with haptic-touch controls, updated materials, and a more modern driver interface. The range was reshuffled, with the GTS assuming the role of flagship performance model after the Turbo’s departure. Powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 producing 324 kW, the GTS delivered sharper handling, enhanced chassis tuning, and a more aggressive exhaust note.

COLLECTOR’S TAKE

With the electric Macan now replacing petrol power, late 95B.3 GTS models are poised to become sought-after future classics. Their combination of performance, analogue feel, and final-year exclusivity means well-kept examples could hold — or even grow — in value for Porsche enthusiasts.

From museum-grade classics to motorsport icons and the latest GT engineering, Porsche Centre Willoughby’s Sportscar Together Day 2025 was a full-scale celebration of the marque’s legacy.
#SPORTSCARTOGETHER

At Porsche Centre Willoughby, Sportscar Together Day has grown to become a community tradition — it’s a celebration of our shared passion for Porsche and the legacy of the world’s greatest sports cars. The 2025 edition welcomed owners, enthusiasts, and families into our showroom, transformed into a curated walk-through of Porsche excellence — from the golden age of the air-cooled era to the latest in performance engineering.

The display showcased an extraordinary collection of models spanning decades, with each car chosen to represent a unique chapter in Porsche’s story. Visitors enjoyed fresh pizza and baristamade coffee, show bags, Porsche giveaways, and a colouring competition for all ages. The Porsche tractor and ever-changing rotation of customer cars arriving and departing gave the driveway its own moving display — a living, breathing part of the day.

Taking centre stage inside were not one, but two 1973 911 Carrera RS models in contrasting white and orange paint work — icons of Porsche’s motorsport pedigree and instantly recognisable with their ducktail spoilers.

From 1974, a striking Guards Red Carrera Coupe, wearing black 911 script on the bonnet, a detail rarely seen and appreciated by the keen-eyed covered the enterance. Inside it's 1974 counter

part, a vivid Magenta Carrera Targa drew admiration for its striking colour and unique Targa silhouette. The 1980s were represented by a muscular Guards Red 930 Turbo — the original widow-maker — and a black 964 Turbo 3.6, both capturing the raw performance and bold attitude of their era. Nearby, a rare 911 GT2 continued the turbocharged theme, offering a glimpse into the no-compromise GT engineering that Porsche has become known for.

From the 1990s, the showroom featured a Guards Red 993 Carrera RS, a stunning 993 Turbo S, and an anniversary-edition 964 “Jubi” — the limited-run Jubilee model built to celebrate 30 years of the 911. Also on display: a motorsport-spec 964 RSR, a brutal and beautiful reminder of Porsche’s dominance in GT racing during that period.

Modern race technology was well represented by a 996 Cup Car, its stripped interior and aggressive stance underscoring its track-only intentions. Paired alongside was a factory-delivered 997 GT3 RS, a car widely praised for being one of the most balanced and rewarding GT cars Porsche has ever produced.

From the latest generation came the eagerly anticipated 992 911 S/T — a lightweight, manual-transmission GT car built for the purist. Parked next to it was the 50th Anniversary 911 Coupe, a refined and understated tribute to the 911 lineage.

On the more rugged side of Porsche’s recent history was the 992 Dakar, its raised ride height, off-road tyres, and adventurous aesthetic drawing continuous interest. And in contrast, the elegance of the Irish Green Reimagined by Singer showed what happens when craftsmanship, heritage, and modern technology combine in a singular, bespoke expression.

Perhaps the most jaw-dropping moment of the day was provided by the Guards Red Porsche 959 S. One of the rarest and most advanced supercars of the 1980s, the 959 was years ahead of its time — and to see an S version in such original condition was a true privilege.

All day, our front driveway acted as a revolving stage, with clients arriving and departing in an array of modern and classic Porsche models, making the entire experience feel like an ongoing show. From Taycans to Targas, GT3s to GTSs, every visitor played a part in this celebration of Porsche’s enduring appeal.

As the event came to a close in the afternoon, it was clear: Sportscar Together Day is not just about the cars — it’s about the people who love them, the stories they tell, and the passion that connects us all.

We thank everyone who joined us at Porsche Centre Willoughby for this unforgettable day, and we look forward to sharing the road — and the journey — again next year.

Built for Adventure: Paul's Porsche 911 Dakar

From European grand tours to Pikes Peak, Paul’s automotive journey has been anything but ordinary. His latest acquisition — a Porsche 911 Dakar — is set to take him even further off the beaten track.

For Paul Draper, finding the right Porsche 911 Dakar was more a calculated pursuit than a casual purchase. With the help of Porsche Centre Willoughby General Manager, Sean Lygo, the search led to a car held by a collector and never registered in their name. “So essentially, I’m the first documented owner,” Paul says. “We’d been looking for probably 12 to 15 months. It’s not the sort of car you just pick up on a whim — you need the right one.”

When it finally arrived, it came with one notable difference from factory specification: the original Rough Roads decal had been swapped for a Rothmans-inspired design. Paul has already changed it back to the factory decal and added the number 73. “Once it was back to factory, I added the number 73 — my wife’s birth year. Out of all the cars we’ve had, this was her favourite, so it seemed fitting.”

Paul’s Porsche history runs deep. At one stage, the family garage held half a dozen examples, with the next generation also sharing the enthusiasm.

“The kids have had them too,” he says. But while much of his collection over the years has been track-oriented — low, aggressive, and built for speed — the Dakar brings something new. “You wouldn’t think a 911 jacked up with big wheels would be fun, but it’s absolutely amazing.”

Adventure is nothing new to Paul. He’s covered thousands of kilometres on European grand tours, driving Ferraris through Italy and Switzerland. In the United States, he’s experienced the nerve-testing challenge of Pikes Peak in a supercharged Mustang. “Very scary,” he laughs, “especially with the drop-offs. You keep reminding yourself not to look down.”

This year, Paul and his wife will take on something entirely different: Namibia. “I’ve never done a safari-style adventure before, so it’ll be something different,” Paul says. “That’s the beauty of the Dakar — it’s built for the roads less travelled.”

Paul’s love of cars is intertwined with his family life. His daughter, Serena, has been part of the family business since she left school, first working as his PA before stepping up to run the company. “She was the natural choice to take over. It’s a reasonable-sized business, and it’s good to see her take the reins.”

Over the years, Paul’s garage has hosted an enviable line-up — McLarens, Aston Martins, a Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo, and limited-run models like the 360 Challenge Stradale, 430 Scuderia, 16M Scuderia, 458 Speciale, and 488 Pista. Of course, there’s also a Porsche GT3 and GT3 RS. Some have since been sold, but as Paul says, “some cars you just know you want to hang onto.”

The Dakar feels like one of those cars. Its blend of Porsche performance and genuine off-road capability means it can go places few sports cars dare. And for Paul, that means more than just ticking another box in his collection. “It’s unique, it’s fun, and it just suits us,” he says. “And my wife loves it — which is great, as she’ll be co-driving in Namibia!”

From the long search to the adventures ahead, Paul Draper’s Dakar embodies more than a new set of keys — it’s a passport to journeys yet to be taken.

“I’ve never done a safari-style adventure before, so Namibia will be something different.”
“Out of all the cars we’ve had, this is my wife’s favourite — so 73 had to be on the side.”

Porsche Guaranteed Future Value.

Anticipate the next turn.

You have great plans for the future and we don’t want anything to stand in your way. In our experience, the better you plan your goals the easier they are to achieve. Our solution? Porsche Guaranteed Future Value (GFV)^. Porsche GFV^ is a tailored finance program that allows you to guarantee the minimum future value^ of your Porsche Cayenne or Macan at the time of purchase, giving you peace of mind knowing the value of your vehicle is secured.

Whether you are selecting your Porsche for business or personal use, you can choose the contract term that best suits your requirements. The interest rate is fixed for the life of your loan and there are no account keeping fees. At the end of your Porsche GFV^ contract, you will enjoy the choice of three options: trade-in, retain or return.

How it works

1. Select your Porsche Cayenne or Macan model.

2. Select your preferred term from either 36 or 48 months, an annual kilometre allowance and repayment options that suit your lifestyle.

3. At the end of your chosen term, select from one of the three below end of term options:

Trade-in:

If you wish to trade-in your Porsche for a new vehicle, all you need to do is return it to your Official Porsche Centre. If the trade-in value is higher than the GFV^, you can use this equity towards your new Porsche.

Return:

All you need to do is hand your Porsche back and, if the vehicle meets the agreed kilometre and fair wear and tear requirements^, you will have no more to pay.

Retain:

If you prefer to retain your Porsche, simply let us know. Provided that you also meet the relevant payment obligations under your contract, you can purchase your vehicle outright for the GFV amount locked in at the start of the contract^. Then your vehicle is yours to keep. Or you can choose to refinance your balloon at the end of the term.

Benefits of guaranteeing your future value

A selection of three options at the end of your Porsche GFV^ contract

A personally tailored finance solution, based on the term and kilometre usage of your Porsche

Maintaining your Porsche

Your Porsche is an investment in quality, so naturally you’ll want to maintain it accordingly. If you wish to return your Porsche at the end of your finance agreement, it must meet the criteria set out within the Fair Wear and Tear Guide. Your vehicle must also not exceed the pre-nominated kilometre limit (set by you, based on your anticipated usage at the beginning of your contract). For more information, the Fair Wear and Tear Guide can be downloaded by scanning the QR code below. It can also be found on porsche.com.au/PorscheGFV.

Porsche GFV Fair Wear and Tear Guide

Scan this QR code with the camera on your phone and tap the notification to see the Porsche GFV Fair Wear and Tear Guide.

^Porsche Guaranteed Future Value has a Guaranteed Future Value (GFV) which is the minimum value of your vehicle at the end of your finance contract as determined by PFS. If you decide to return your vehicle to PFS at the end of your term, PFS will pay you the agreed GFV, which will be put against your final payment subject to fair wear and tear conditions and agreed kilometres being met. At the end of your term, you can elect to (1) trade-in; (2) return; or (3) retain the vehicle by paying the GFV owed to PFS at the end of the loan term after all repayments have been made. You will be liable for any loan contract deficit and additional charges apply if you exceed the nominated kilometre allowance and/or the vehicle is not in an acceptable condition. Available on new, demonstrator or Porsche Approved pre-owned vehicles for selected Porsche models. Contact your Official Porsche Centre to check eligible vehicles for this program. MICHAEL ALEXANDER

PORSCHE SALES EXECUTIVE

Michael Alexander joined Porsche Centre Willoughby in 2021 after a long career with European luxury brands. A chance meeting with GM Sean Lygo led to what he calls a life-changing opportunity. As a Sales Executive, Michael brings a personal, customer-focused approach to helping clients realise their dream of owning a Porsche.

What is your role at PCW?

I’m a Sales Executive and do my best to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for my customers. I’m always mindful that when customers walk through the door, they are often realising a lifelong ambition to own a Porsche.

How long have you been with PCW?

A life changing opportunity that began in May 2021 and I’ve never looked back.

Tell us a little bit about your motoring background?

Next year in 2026, I will celebrate 30 years in the motor trade…representing luxury European brands like Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz/AMG, Peugeot and Saab.

How did you find your way here?

I helped my neighbour Sean Lygo (our GM) move pot plants on his balcony. At the time, I was working for Mercedes-Benz, and I thankfully made a good impression on him. An opportunity came up when one of the sales executives at PCW took maternity leave and the rest is history.

What appealed to you about working with the Porsche brand?

A little light bulb went off in my mind after driving a 911 Carrera 4S during a Mercedes-AMG drive day with various other European brands. The 911 just felt like it did everything right. I did think to myself “Porsche is a brand that I could wholeheartedly represent.”

How have you found PCW compared to other luxury car brands you've worked for?

PCW has a warm and inviting family-feel and we’re thankful to experience tremendous customer loyalty. We operate in a more relaxed way compared to many other volume-driven dealerships and that puts people at ease when they are making one of their most important decisions. It’s a very pleasant environment in which to design your “dream car” and relaxing if you’re waiting for your vehicle to be serviced. The team is great and most importantly, the coffee is excellent!

What has been your experience working with the PCW team?

It’s a close-knit team — several of our staff have worked here for many years, which gives our customers a sense of comfort and trust in dealing with us. It’s enjoyable to arrive each morning to an environment where you’re appreciated.

Do you have a favourite model?

I’ve always been attracted to sporty performance vehicles, so I have to say our timeless 911. If I had to choose, it would be the understated elegance of a GT3 Touring with a manual gearbox. To me that is the perfect sports car!

Describe your perfect day at Porsche Centre Willoughby.

At least 3 piccolos, a nice sunny day for test-drives, relaxed appointments building cars with customers, a few laughs and experiencing the excitement of a customer taking delivery of their Porsche.

What stands out from your time at PCW?

Experiencing our latest 992.2 911 GTS at Sandown Raceway.

Tell us about your life outside of PCW.

I love going for walks to Balmoral beach and having a coffee, especially when we’re looking after one of the kid’s dogs, the occasional drive/day trip out of Sydney and holidays overseas to the French Riviera are my favourite…take it easy though, it doesn’t happen as often as I’d like it to!

SONDERWUNSCH

Porsche’s Sonderwunsch programme. (German for “special request”)

Exploring the world of

Sylvia Schiefer, a motorcycle enthusiast from Germany, brought her passion for performance to life in a 911 Targa 4 GTS. Finished in Agate Grey Metallic with Pure Blue leather accents in the interior, the car reflects her and her husband’s shared love for speed and individuality.

Jorge Carnicero A horse breeder and lifelong Porsche fan from the U.S., worked with the Sonderwunsch team to personalise a 911 S/T. The car features a bespoke “Dani Blue” exterior, named after the Porsche designer who supported him in creating the colour concept, and a tricolour Pepita interior fabric.

Hadi Al Hussaini , a Porsche enthusiast from Dubai, created a 911 Dakar inspired by desert landscapes and off-road adventures. He chose the exterior colour Aetna Blue and paired it with an interior featuring Cohiba Brown leather and a tartan fabric in Truffle Brown, Cognac, and Aurum.

Luca Trazzi, an architect and designer from Italy, brought his dream to life with help from the Sonderwunsch team: a 993-generation 911 Speedster. The one-off masterpiece is painted in Otto Yellow — named after his dog — and features a custom black leather interior in a yellow-and-black check pattern.

SONDERWUNSCH

From four corners of the world come rare glimpses into the Porsche Sonderwunsch programme. In these exclusive behind-the-scenes stories, each customer retraces their path — from the first flicker of an idea to the highly personal moment their vision became reality.

For over 70 years, Porsche has stood for more than just sports cars. It has stood for dreams — and the ability to shape them. The Sonderwunsch programme represents the highest form of individualisation at Porsche, enabling customers to co-create truly unique vehicles in close collaboration with the brand’s design and manufacturing experts.

CONCEPT COACHWORK REVEAL DREAM

INSIGHTS INTO THE PINNACLE OF AUTOMOTIVE

Dreaming takes you beyond the ordinary. It stirs the imagination, pushing you towards something greater.

For Jorge Carnicero, that moment came on a quiet Sunday morning. An air-cooled Porsche passed by — the sound, the shape, the presence. It was love at first sight. From that day, he knew he had to own one.

Sylvia Schiefer sees dreams in precision. It’s what creates marvels of technology. She’s raced motorcycles, but now prefers slow drives through the Eifel, savouring the smell, the sound, the feel of a car. Sonderwunsch began for her as a search for something the configurator couldn’t offer — a truly personal machine.

Hadi Al Hussaini learned to dream in the desert. Reading the dunes like a new language, following his father to showrooms after Friday prayers, drawn always to the sports cars. Now, with his son Abdulla, he follows the Dakar Rally — and together they’re shaping their own vision of the 911 Dakar.

For Luca Trazzi, the dream is timeless design. As a young art student, he fell for the Speedster — a perfect balance of form and feeling. Today, he wants to reimagine it: respecting tradition, but giving it a modern soul.

Four stories. Four dreams. All connected by a single marque — Porsche.

DREAM

CONCEPT COACHWORK

Sonderwunsch is the highest form of individualisation at Porsche — where the customer becomes the creator of their own dream car. A limitless playground for ideas, emotions, and memories.

For Sylvia Schiefer, it’s about details. A gear shifter wrapped in Pure Blue leather. Colours that speak like emotions — yes or no, instantly. Her car is a canvas, each choice reflecting feeling, openness, and the courage to make something the world has never seen before.

Jorge Carnicero was drawn to Sonderwunsch for the chance to turn a vision into reality. For him, colour was the greatest challenge. Blue, his lifelong favourite, became the heart of his car. After research and refinement, it emerged as both expressive and calm, sporty and friendly — the perfect shade to embody his dream.

With Hadi Al Hussaini, inspiration began in history: Edna Blue of the 1960s, muted tones of the Dakar era in the 1980s, the shimmer of petrol in sunlight. Together with his son, Abdulla, he shaped a 911 Dakar to reflect the desert — dark leather like sand after rain, wood trim for warmth. A car with purpose, memory, and meaning.

And then there is Luca Trazzi. Fascinated by the Speedster’s lines since art school, his vision for a 993 Speedster was unlike any other. Rear humps refined millimetre by millimetre, a tribute to generations of 911. Elegant yet sporty, timeless yet modern. Merging tradition with his love for the original 901 to create his perfect dream car.

Four journeys. Four visions. Each transformed by Sonderwunsch into something extraordinary — cars that are not only driven, but deeply personal.

COACHWORK

For Hadi Al Hussaini, inspiration comes from the desert. Shades of brown and beige worked into the interior, subtle, refined. To him, class is about understatement — a gentleman driver’s car that balances exclusivity with practicality.

Luca Trazzi describes the process as thrilling, like watching a child being born. Every step, a discovery. From the Porsche badge in his hands to the final construction, each detail brought new meaning. His dream became a colour — Otto Yellow — a tribute to his beloved dog. With carbon-shell seats and chequered fabric, his Speedster balances tradition and modernity in perfect harmony.

For Jorge Carnicero, German craftsmanship stands apart for its obsession with detail, precision, and quality. His vision became Dani Blue — a bespoke shade created just for him, paired with classic Pepita fabric. A modern design anchored by historical homage.

Sylvia Schiefer found beauty in the sheer number of parts that make a Porsche unique — hundreds of handcrafted masterpieces. From leather-wrapped gear shifters to a Sport Chrono cover in leather for the very first time, her car became a study in detail. She compares it to the old masters: we admire their paintings because of the wonder in every brushstroke. And for her, Porsche’s greatest asset is clear — its people. Without them, no masterpiece could ever exist.

Craft, detail, precision, and passion. These are not just cars. They are creations — born from dreams, shaped by hands, and made personal through Sonderwunsch.

Craftsmanship means nothing without execution. True skill lies in turning vision into reality. That’s what makes Sonderwunsch so extraordinary — a place where creativity has no limits, and every detail matters.

Sylvia Schiefer could hardly contain her excitement. For her, just looking at the car was enough — but driving it? Simply amazing. Her husband admits he had rarely seen her like this. A moment to remember, and perhaps, as she says with a smile, time to think about a succession plan.

For Jorge Carnicero, anticipation turned to emotion the instant he saw his car. The reveal was so far beyond expectation that he wept. For him, dreaming is essential — it drives you to excel, to push beyond limitations. Including his designer Dani’s signature inside the car was like an artist signing a masterpiece. One of the most powerful feelings of his life.

Luca Trazzi describes it as the beauty of dreams fulfilled. The Speedster was his vision from the first sketch years ago, and the reveal was like a first kiss — an emotion so strong it took him back to childhood. Presenting a car outside the norm was its own reward, and for him, completing the Speedster also meant completing his collection.

For Hadi Al Hussaini, the reveal is something that never leaves you. When he first saw his Dakar, he called a friend and said, This is the car you should have been building all along. Driving it, he says, feels like an extension of himself — every response instinctive, every detail deliberate. The Dakar Rally has always been his passion, and now the circle feels complete. But his dream goes further: one day, to enter the rally with his son Abdulla — Abdulla driving, Hadi as co-driver.

Behind every reveal, the Sonderwunsch team shares in the emotion. Months of work come to life as the cover is pulled away. Each car a reflection of its owner.

THE NEW PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 4S MODELS

CCoupé, Cabriolet and Targa 4S expand

the Porsche 911 range, celebrating sixty years of the iconic Targa with enhanced power, design and technology.

Porsche Centre Willoughby welcomes the arrival of the new 911 Carrera 4S line-up, offered as Coupé, Cabriolet and Targa 4S. With these additions, the range now counts six all-wheel-drive derivatives — doubling the choice for drivers who demand both precision and security. Arriving in the 60th anniversary year of the 911 Targa, the expanded portfolio honours a model lineage that has combined open-top driving with Porsche engineering since 1965.

POWER AND POISE

At the heart of the new Carrera 4S lies the latest evolution of the 3.0-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder boxer engine,

delivering 353 kW (480 PS) — an increase of 22 kW over its predecessor. With technology inspired by the 911 Turbo, including an optimised intercooler system, the new models deliver sharper response and higher output. Paired with the eight-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK), the Carrera 4S Coupé accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds (with Sport Chrono Package) and achieves a top speed of 308 km/h.

The Porsche Traction Management (PTM) system distributes torque intelligently between the axles, providing maximum grip when conditions demand it, while preserving the classic rear-driven character that defines the 911.

“For many owners, all-wheel drive isn’t just reassurance in the wet — it’s the confidence to unleash every kilometre of performance.”

THE TARGA AT 60

The 911 Targa remains a standout in the line-up, blending coupé comfort with cabriolet freedom. First revealed in Frankfurt in 1965 as a ‘safety cabriolet’ for the US market, the Targa introduced a distinctive wide roll bar, removable roof section and folding rear window — an answer to safety concerns about open-top driving. Its name was borrowed from the Targa Florio, Sicily’s famed endurance race, underscoring its motorsport pedigree.

Since then, six decades of continuous evolution have refined the Targa into an icon of Porsche design. Today’s model features a fully automatic roof system that transforms the car in just 19 seconds. The classic roll bar and wraparound rear glass remain, while colour options for the roof module — black, blue, red or brown — allow further customisation.

ENHANCED SPECIFICATION

Standard equipment across the 911 Carrera 4S models has been significantly upgraded. This includes staggered 20/21inch Carrera S wheels, a sports exhaust system, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), and the GTS braking system with red callipers and oversized discs. The Targa 4S also benefits from standard rear-wheel steering.

Inside, leather trim, wireless smartphone charging, matrix LED headlights, lane departure warning and a suite of comfort and assistance systems are included as standard. Customers can also choose from a wide selection of colour and material combinations, roof systems, sound upgrades and advanced driver assistance packages.

CONFIDENCE FOR EVERY SEASON

Around half of all 911 S customers opt for all-wheel drive — a testament to the confidence it inspires in diverse conditions. Whether negotiating wet Sydney streets or alpine roads abroad, the Carrera 4S models deliver unshakable grip without compromising the purity of Porsche handling. For drivers seeking the definitive sports car that performs year-round, the new Carrera 4S Coupé, Cabriolet and Targa 4S represent the perfect balance of tradition, innovation and driving pleasure.

“The wide hips of the Coupé give the Carrera 4S a stance that is as purposeful as it is unmistakably 911.”

Porsche refines its one-make racer for 2026 with more power, sharper aerodynamics and smarter usability.

From 2026, Porsche’s global one-make championships will feature the new 911 Cup – the latest evolution of the world’s best-selling racing car. Based on the 992.2 generation 911, the new model delivers more power, improved aero and a cockpit designed for both focus and functionality.

The naturally aspirated 4.0-litre six-cylinder boxer engine now produces 382 kW (520 PS), while an uprated clutch and six-speed sequential gearbox ensure race starts are even more dramatic. Aerodynamic refinements – from louvred front fenders to a redesigned swan-neck rear wing – bring sharper response and higher stability at speed.

Durability remains a hallmark. Brakes have been uprated for endurance use, while service intervals for the engine remain unchanged despite the increase in power. Sustainability also plays a role, with many body components now crafted from recycled carbon fibre composites.

Inside, drivers benefit from a redesigned steering wheel with more intuitive controls, updated electronics, and a simplified operations panel that makes life easier in the pits. Safety has also been enhanced with features such as stroboscopic brake lights to alert following drivers at the start.

Since its debut in 1990, Porsche’s Cup car has been the proving ground for future professionals and a cornerstone of the brand’s motorsport pyramid. With over 5,000 one-make 911s built to date, the new 911 Cup continues that legacy – stronger, sharper and ready for the grid in 2026.

“The

new 911 Cup stands out thanks to the extensive attention to detail that has gone into its development. It is stronger, faster, yet also more practical.”

– Matthias Scholz, Director GT Racing Cars

THE NEW 911

GT3 R

From 2026, Porsche customer teams will have access to an optimised version of the 911 GT3 R, designed to build on one of the most successful GT3 racing platforms in recent history. Since its debut in 2023, the current-generation GT3 R has secured over 500 race starts, multiple international titles, and consecutive class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The new model focuses on detail refinements rather than revolution. Aerodynamic improvements include louvres above the front wheel arches, reducing pitch sensitivity under braking and improving stability. At the rear, a revised swan-neck wing with Gurney flap delivers added downforce, while suspension updates bring greater balance and drivability across a range of conditions.

Durability has also been enhanced with ceramic wheel bearings, improved driveshaft cooling and electrohydraulic steering with additional fluid cooling — ensuring consistent performance even on demanding circuits like the Nürburgring Nordschleife. For endurance racing, features such as quick-swap USB data logging and refined cockpit ventilation reflect Porsche’s attention to every detail.

The 4.2-litre flat-six engine continues to deliver up to 416 kW (565 PS), with performance governed by Balance of Performance regulations. Crucially, Porsche will offer update kits so existing 911 GT3 R owners can bring their cars up to 2026 specification, underlining its customer-first approach.

“Small changes can make a big difference when built on a solid, proven foundation.” –Sebastian Golz, Project Manager 911 GT3 R

“We’re confident this evolution will allow our customer teams to continue competing successfully across the globe.”
