SIMILARITIES……

PAST…..

The school system was bad.

The teachers were rude and strict.

The children could not express their opinion freely.

Everybody was the same.

DIFFERENCES…..

NOW……

Every child can express their opinion freely.

The children are calm.

The school system is awesome.

But…..

Sometimes the children are noisy!!!    !!!!!!!!

Similarities and Differences

In the past, teachers used to be very strict but now they aren’t.

The children used to be quiet in the classroom. Now they are naughty.

The children used to go to school with school uniforms. Now we can wear anything.

They used to go to school on Saturdays too. Nowadays we don’t go to school at weekends.  In the past, children used to organize Christmas celebrations. Nowadays we do the same thing.

They used to do their homework like us. They used to take a break like us to eat their lunch. They used to have one teacher for all the subjects almost like us! 



Similarities and Differences In the past schools were different from today.At first teachers were very strict with the children and they laughed at them when they did something wrong.They also punished them every time they didn’t behave properly and the children were scared of them.

Furthermore the teachers tried to control children’s thoughts so that they wouldn’t become free persons.

Things are different today.Teachers are friendly with their students.They try to listen to their problems and help them to develop an interesting personality and to be creative and useful to the society.

In the past schools were different from today. At first the teachers were very strict with the children and they laughed at them when they did something wrong. T he teachers wanted all the kids to be perfect students, silent and they wanted them to be the same. In the classroom there was thought control and sarcasm. They never cared about what the children wanted.

Nowadays schools are very different. There are fewer children in every classroom and the teachers are more polite and democratic. They let us express our thought and they don’t shout at us. But sometimes the children are very noisy and the teachers have to be very patient.

Similarities and Differences!

Differences : The teachers hurt the children but now they don’t. They believed that all the children should think in the same way. But now teachers believe that each kid should think in a different way.

Similarities : They shouted like the teachers now. All the teachers follow the educational system .

My parents’ school life: When my parents went to school, things were very difficult. The teachers shouted and they hurt the kids. But they taught them a lot of things that have helped them in their life.

• SIMILARITIES – DIFFERENCES At old times, students had an awful time at school. They couldn’t express their own opinion or thoughts. The teachers hit the students for unimportant things.

• Nowadays, the teachers help the students more, the students can say everything they want. The teachers don’t hit the students any more. The students have a fantastic time at school.

School life in the late 70’s and early 80’s compared to school life today, has its differences and similarities. The differences are that in the past, teachers used to hit children if the made a mistake or did something in their personal life.

However, in school life today teachers don’t hit children, instead they help them in what they do.

Children in the 70’s didn’t have much freedom of speech and thought. Today children have the right to fight for a better tomorrow. The similarities are that kids always go to school.

In a few words the differences are more than the similarities, because today’s method of teaching has given the right to students to talk to their teachers about different problems.

By Christine Androutsopoulou Many year ago, schools were completely different. Pupils used to wear school uniforms. The teachers were more austere and unkind. They didn’t respect the students. They offended and punished them all the time in front of all the other students.

Today schools are better. It’s not obligatory to wear school uniforms. The teachers are more kind and helpful. They respect the children more. I believe that schools nowadays are really better than they used to be many years ago.

In the past, schools were different from the schools of today There was a lot of thought control, that is teachers made children look and behave the same way and they did not allow them to have their own personalities.

Moreover, there was sarcasm in the classroom and the teachers were very strict and made fun of the children if they hadn't done their homework.

In addition, the teachers told the children to do something again and again because they didn't like the way they had done it.

Nowadays, children don't have thought control and they are free to develop their ideas.

The teachers try to help the children and explain things to them , i f they haven't understood or haven't done an exercise.

Finally, they don't make the students repeat the same things but they try to encourage them to do things in their own way.

In conclusion, the teachers in the past were worse than the teachers nowadays. In the past, they just put another brick in the wall. Today, the teachers help the children to build their own personalities and they let them express themselves.
