This crime continues to fascinate the world. In 1994, Peter Jackson created a film based on the events called ‘Heavenly Creatures’ with Kate Winslet and Melanie Lynskey. THE PEOPLE HAVE VOTED! RIALTO CINEMAS NEWMARKET WON THE Flicks People’s Choice Best Circuit Cinema Award 2011 at the New Zealand Motion Picture Industry Council Gala Awards last month. The award was voted on by members of the public over a three week period on the flicks.co.nz website. Rialto Cinemas group manager Kathryn Bennett was delighted with the accolade. “We are absolutely thrilled to have won this award.
