Hallo-Zine Fall 2021
Chilling Hallways
Written by Candice Phelan Illustrated by Katharine Taddei Laughter echos out of rooms I can no longer open The winds storm and I’m just waiting ever waiting for you
The tips taps echo from the other side of the hall without the light switching on and I still wait here ever waiting for you
as I sit here cross-legged in front of this dark harrowing hallway ever waiting just for you
A tail fluffing upward swaying high and dissipating towards the edges the darkness swallowing and ejecting his soft image drawing ever closer to me as I sit ever waiting for you
and the phone echos from an empty room and then stops to continue from another a room closer and I sit here ever waiting for you
