Letter from the Editor

Readers, be welcome!

Quills in Quarantine! Fun, Sun, and EVIL! And now, Cottage Core Cryptids! Our Magazine, booklet, novella, has been a passion project of all the Poets and Writers Coalition members. We started this Zine in the midst of the worst Pandemic in a Century, and we’re going to continue this Zine well into whatever other tragedy, or time of peace, may befall our University.

This is my first time taking the reigns of this Zine’s organization since our previous Editor decided to take some much needed R&R, and as such I’ve donned the title of “Regent Editor,” much like the leaders of the past, I am only leading and working Zine statecraft until the true Lord Protector returns to her seat at the head of the PWC. I hope that this new leadership is one that has brought you some interesting, perhaps strange, story-telling in our endeavors throughout the tumultuous 20s and 21s of the 21st Century.

It is my wish that any, hopefully far in the future PWC members, can look back at this Zine and see a snapshot of our time at the University, share in our joys and our stress, and know that some roles never change (student, teacher, human). From my seat with a loving cat in arm, enjoy this human experience as much as I’ve had in organizing and collecting these amazing, and a little strange, stories!
