VALOR Clinic Foundation (VCF) provides assistance accessing benefits, and shelter to Veterans with limited or no access to care. Helps find shelter for Veterans who, due to health or means, are unable to find or keep shelter of their own, and Post Traumatic Stress resources to Veterans through our Veterans Unstoppable program. We strive to provide nationwide integrated medical care in the future.

Connecting the community to resources through events and outreach services, life skills education and by housing organizations that can benefit our community.

Vision: Anyone in need will be able to come to Five Loaf House and find the resources they need to improve their lives.

Clymer Library Summer Highlights

Summer Reading Program registration opens Saturday June 1 and runs through mid-July. Registration is only available on-line through the Clymer Library website’s Children & Teen pages.

Adult Summer Reading opens Monday, June 3rd. Adults can register at the circulation desk.

Live Music on the Patio will be every third Monday at 6:30 PM.

It begins Monday June 17th and will run through the fall.

Mini Golf in the Library is Wednesday June 26th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. All ages welcome! Registration is required.

Relaxing Gong Meditation is every first Thursday of the month from 6:30 to 7:30 PM and Drum Circle is every second Thursday. Registration is required.

Clymer Fun Fest will be held Saturday, July 27th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Enjoy a dance party and fun carnival-style games, activities, and food. Registration is required.

Friends of Clymer Library’s annual Book Sale is August 7th to 10th.

The annual Brunch & House Tour is August 14th. Brunch at Lake Naomi Club is 9:30 AM to 12:30

PM and the self-guided tour follows. Tickets (cash or check only) can be purchased at Clymer beginning Monday June 3rd.

Wild bleeding heart (Dicentra eximia) is a long-blooming perennial that adds a delicate texture to the garden with its intricately cut bluegreen leaves. The heart-shaped flowers appear in early spring and continue sporadically throughout the growing season. Pendulous pink but occasionally white flowers are held on 10-16” tall stems. Tolerant of some sun, wild bleeding heart thrives in filtered shade. It requires extra moisture after transplanting but once established does well under dry conditions. Wild bleeding heart is useful in a mixed border or naturalistic garden.
