Welcome to the 57th Annual Mul-Chu-Tha Fair and Rodeo Our annual Mul-Chu-Tha Fair & Rodeo is here, thank you for joining us.

The Mul-Chu-Tha is our annual fair and rodeo recognized amongst our people, Akimel O’otham and Pee-Posh, as the most prestigious event of the year.

It is our distinct pleasure to provide this event for our Community and to share it with other tribes and visitors.

Tribal fairs and rodeos across the nation are like no other event, as they provide unique experiences, interactions and gathering various tribes. This year’s Mul-Chu-Tha that will take place over three days and will include a Community Day for all to enjoy, Parade, Carnival, Pow-Wow contest, Waila Battle of the Bands, all Indian Rodeo, art & crafts, various food options, a cultural song and dance at the Cultural Circle, entertainment acts, and so much more.

“Bringing People Together to Celebrate Culture and Tradition,” submitted by theme contest winner Ray Stovall, a Community member who currently resides with his family in the state of Ohio.

The hope of our tribal leadership is to look back on yesteryear and see the positive journeys our Community and its people have taken to sustain its people for years to come.

The Gila River Indian Community Council The Community Council invites everyone attending the 57th Annual Mul-Chu-Tha Fair & Rodeo. We hope the experience of Gila River’s tribal fair and rodeo has to offer and at the end of the day you will have reunited with family and friends, or will make new friends.

May the Community and our visitors have a fun and memorable experience at this year’s Mul-Chu-Tha Fair & Rodeo.

The Community Council is the legislative body of the Gila River Indian Community, and includes elected representative from all of the seven districts within the Community.

Welcome to the 57th Annual Mul-ChuTha Fair & Rodeo. My name is Autumn Rose Cooper. I am 21 years old and I come from the Lower Santan Village in District 4. I would like to give my thanks to family and friends for their endless amount of support I’ve received throughout this journey. It was an honor to serve as your 56th Miss Gila River. Many blessings to you all and it I hope you all have a safe and fun Mul-Chu-Tha weekend!

Welcome to the 57th Annual Mul-ChuTha Fair & Rodeo! It has been an honor serving as your 56th Jr. Miss Gila River.

This year has taught me so much. I’ve met so many people from different states, including royalty from other tribes. I will never forget the memories I have created throughout my reign. Serving as your ambassador means everything to me. I cherish in representing my people, my community, and my family.

I am especially proud of the chance to represent myself as a young Akimel O’odham lady across the nation.
