Foundation Learning and Entry Level – essential skills
• Foundation Learning and Entry Level 3 courses are designed to build essential skills and knowledge to support further study such as numeracy, literacy and digital skills, in addition to personal and professional development.

Developing specialist expertise & professional competence
• Having gained your Level 3 qualification, you will be mastering your applied skills and specialist knowledge, and perhaps specialising into areas of interest or expertise with professional development courses and degree courses. These could include foundation years, full bachelor’s degrees and postgraduate study.
• You are likely to have worked within industry, or have relevant industry experience.
• You will likely have completed a Level 3 course, or equivalent and hold a minimum number of GCSE’s including your English and maths. Please check our website for specific course requirements.

T Levels are two-year technical qualifications designed for students aged 16–19 who want to gain practical skills, industry knowledge, and a pathway into skilled employment or higher education. They are equivalent to three A-levels and developed in collaboration with employers to ensure they meet the needs of industry.
Completing a T Level prepares you for higher level apprenticeships or employment in your chosen field, as well as progression to degree level study.
Why choose a T Level?
• Structured learning: 80% of your time is spent in the classroom, building technical knowledge and practical skills, while 20% is dedicated to industry placements, giving you practical experience in the workplace.

Achieving your GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or above is essential to continue studying your chosen course. Our experienced tutors provide personalised support, small group lessons, and practical learning activities, giving you the skills and confidence to progress to further study, apprenticeships, or employment. Once you have received your offer, you’ll be invited to a Welcome Day – make sure to secure your spot and review all of the helpful information in the lead up to starting with us. Order your branded clothing and necessary equipment, book your bus tickets, apply for any financial support, and reserve your room with us if you’re planning to live on campus.
It’s time to start your next chapter – there’ll be lots going on to support your transition into college life and beyond.
You’ll receive an offer to study with us, which may or may not be dependent on your GCSE results. Once you’ve got this, there’s no need to wait – accept as early as possible to prepare for September.

One Garden Brighton is a beautifully restored walled garden at Stanmer Park, on the edge of Brighton. It’s managed and run by Plumpton College as a horticultural centre of excellence, combining education and training, community, and enterprise. Relaunched to the public in 2021 after a major restoration, One Garden Brighton acts as both a visitor attraction and an unparalleled immersive learning environment.
