Creating your bespoke event
Whether you’re looking to hold a celebratory event, or you’re a business looking for a corporate hire venue, we work with some wonderful local suppliers including florists, photographers, bands, DJ’s and stretch tent or marquee specialists.
Enjoy exclusive use of the gardens in the evenings when the garden is closed to the public. Delight in local food and drink that suits your guestlist.
We’ll work with you to make your event unique to you with our bespoke packages.

Focusing on the day, the set up was beautiful, the gardens were looking incredible and so well cared for, the food (snacks on arrival and buffet) was delicious, on time and garnered loads of complements. The staff were discreet but on hand when we needed them. The marquee on the lawns was the perfect environment for what we wanted to do, and staff even packed everything away and stored it for as at the end of the night.”

During the summer months our events terrace comes alive with our bar. Serving up local beers, wines and cocktails, freshly garnished with herbs from the garden.
L O C A L B E V E R A G E S
We stock a host of local suppliers, with Lost Pier beer on tap and bottles of soft drinks stocked up. Hold a drinks reception in the garden or treat your guests with money behind the bar as you party on the lawns.

Our award winning signature sparkling wine is produced by us at the Plumpton Estate. We’re happy to source local wines from our specialist suppliers across Sussex.

Our beautiful spaces fit all of your needs. Greet your guests with a drinks reception in the garden, hire a stretch tent and party on the lawns.
Alternatively, use our breakout rooms for your next sustainable corporate away day.
Venue hire starts from £1500
Things to consider about our venue
From April to September, the garden comes alive with colour, texture and scent. To capture the garden at it’s best, we recommend that you plan your event during these months.
One Garden Brighton is open daily to the public, we can offer you exclusive use in the evenings. Please be mindful that during the day you would not gain exclusive use.
Given our limited availability of our venue, we are looking to support events of a minimum of 120 guests.
One Kitchen, our restaurant, is available to hire in the evening at any point of the year, we can accommodate up to 44 guests, ready to serve up delicious local food.
If you’re looking for a larger venue, visit Plumpton College’s AgriFood Centre.
Our award winning signature sparkling wine is produced by us at the Plumpton College Estate. We’re happy to source local wines from our specialist contacts across Sussex.
Our Rock Lodge Vineyard on the north side of the South Downs produces 40,000 bottles of award winning sparkling wine each year, which students are instrumental in developing.
