“Taking the difficulty out of difficult conversations”

It is very easy to approach challenging conversations, especially those that are usually described as ‘difficult’, with a win-lose attitude. You are right and the other person is wrong!

This program invites you to see these conversations as performance conversations: Opportunities to engage the other person and focus on future productivity and enhanced performance.

This workshop offers skills and approaches to working with people whose behaviour might have strayed outside acceptable boundaries and to re-engage them as productive members of your team.

A productive conversation for a leader will always be related to improved performance and better relationships in the future. There need not be the acrimony created by blame. If you want the person to be a productive, high-performing member of your team, try using the ‘Performance Conversations’ approach.

The presenter, Rob Stones, is an experienced leader and coach. He has used effective performance conversations during his 21 years as a school principal - and taught the skills and approaches required to countless leaders in his 15 years as a consultant and coach.
