Panayiotis A. KOKORAS Kydeimos for symphony orchestra
Kydeimos Commissioned by State Orchestra of Athens and premiered on May 11th, 2012 by State orchestra of Athens conducted by Mikhail Agrest at Athens Megaron Concert Hall. It is the second piece of a trilogy in progress under the theme of 'Battle'. The first part of the trilogy is a fanfare entitled Fanfara Magno Arcano. Kydeimos In Greek mythology was the personification of the noise of battle.
