Virtual Screening Guidelines
To keep our patrons safe during the pandemic, GPJFF has gone VIRTUAL! Through winter/spring 2021, Fall Fest, Festival Plus! and other screenings and special events will take place virtually on our new digital cinema & event platforms: CineSend & Crowdcast.
GPJFF SPONSORS
If you are a GPJFF40 Sponsor, you will receive a link to create your account for CineSend on Monday, October 26, 2020. Once your account is activated, you may browse through all our Fall Fest selections and begin planning your festival. You will be able to browse by date or theme. You will also have access to a short film created by local students for GPJFFÕs MY ISRAEL Student Short Film Competition. You will not have access
to watch the movies until their scheduled screening dates and times.
TICKET BUYERS
If you are a ticket buyer, you may browse our Fall Fest selections at PJFF.org or this digital brochure, which is linked to our website. Once you purchase a ticket(s), you will receive both a confirmation email and an email containing your clickable voucher codes. When you click on a voucher code, you will be taken directly to your selected film on CineSend. Once there, you can watch the filmÕs trailer, but you will not have
access to watch the movie until its scheduled
screening date and time. Most Fall Fest films are available to stream for 48 hours. Still, there are a few exceptions that either screen on a specific day and time (like GOLDEN VOICES), are available for 24 hours only (like BREAKING BREAD), or accessible for an extended period (like AUTONOMIES).
GEO-BLOCKING VIRTUAL EVENTS
Please note that most, if not all, virtual films have geo-blocking restrictions. These filmsÕ distributors have imposed these restrictions to assure that other virtual film festivals across the country and abroad can expose their audiences to these films without having their attendance compromised. Typically, Fall Fest films are available to PA, NJ and DE residents (this includes students who temporarily reside in these areas for school). Currently, three Fall Fest films are open to PA residents only: GOLDEN VOICES, THE END OF LOVE, and SHIVA BABY. One movie, BREAKING BREAD, is available to PA & DE only.
Special events such as our MASTER CLASS WITH THE CREATOR OF BOJACK HORSEMAN,
ART & ACTIVISM: JEWISH VISUAL ARTISTS
SHOWCASE & PANEL, and virtual premiere of ARIEL RIVKAÕS DANCEÕS UNORTHODOX PERFORMANCE & DANCE WORKSHOP are not geo-blocked. Anyone can access these programs by registering or purchasing a ticket.
Refunds
Refunds will only be given if a program is cancelled or in the case of a documented illness or injury. If you are having technical difficulties please call 215-545-4400 and a GPJFF staff member will assist you.
