Monday 5th November - Arthritis Awareness in Atholl - Moulin Hall - 2.30pm. The speaker is Vicky Turnbull of RSPB and her subject 'Garden birds and the Tayside Reserves' Everyone welcome. Monday 5th November - Pitlochry and Edradour Community Bonfire - Recreation Ground, Ferry Road, Pitlochry – from 6.00pm. We are having a "Guy" competition for our bonfire night. All entries must be at the ground for 6pm to be judged. The "Guys" will then be placed on the bonfire before being lit around 6.20pm.There will be a prize for the winner. Fireworks to start approx 7pm by the winner of the art competition. Due to health and safety, sparklers are not allowed at the ground, there will be glow sticks for sale. In the interest of safety, please use the car park across from Drummonds, parking at the pavilion for disabled badge holders only. Food available from 6pm. Free entry. Wednesday 7th November - Pitlochry Ladies Club - Scotland's Hotel - 7.00pm. Margaret Sasada will talk about "A Broad Travels". The cost of the evening will be £12, which includes a light supper with coffee to follow. If you wish to come to our Christmas Dinner in December please also bring the £23 charge for it to this meeting. The charity we are now supporting is Marie Curie and there will be a raffle in aid of it. We are a sociable friendly club, new members are very welcome at any time. Tuesday 13th November - Pitlochry Litter Action Group - Recreation Ground Car Park - 10.00am. See page 72 for more details. Wednesday 14th November - The Tryst Walking Group – Loch Broom – 9.30am. Starting either above East Haugh or Tullimet, the route follows a good path uphill until Loch Broom is reached. Height climbed 200m. Distance 8 miles. Visitors / new members are most welcome. We will have a Christmas-themed Bring and Buy stall as well as a Flower arrangers' stall. The Demonstrator will be Christine McKenna whose title is 'Christmas is only 6 weeks away'.
