Presenting Randomer 1 : Gabriella Spiridon Film 43 secs Practice : HOX Design Company’s Ideology : Context, Client Relationship, Balance, Quality Synopsis : Gabriella woke up one morning to get herself ready for work at HOX Design. It was her first day at HOX but she was not nervous. Today, she observed one of her colleagues, John Diaz, who was told by John Clark to render a wardrobe for one of their clients so the client can sell her house faster. However, they both found that the render was quite pointless because the client could just use the one they already made.

Randomer 2 : Ioana Gherghel Film 53 secs Practice : David Morley Architects Company’s Ideology : Sustainability, Aesthetics, Quality, Context Synopsis : Ioana walked to David Morley Architects’ office and notice on her first day that the company valued sustainability. After that, she met David Preece who was one of five associate directors. Someone behind him asked David about atrium height which David answered “enough for a bright seating area in the northern corner. Then at work Ioana listened to other people. It was today that she knew about the company’s ideology.

Randomer 3 : Pirawatt Changlek Film 1 min 20 secs Practice : XUL Architecture Company’s Ideology : Client Relationship, Quality, Time Synopsis : Pirawatt was working for XUL on a gym project. He listened to the architects’ comments about how to present the modular architecture ideas to the client. XUL’s design director, Christain, wanted him to show the client why the hexagon was a good shape to make up the modular building.

Randomer 4 : Denisa Groza Film 42 secs Practice : Sheppard Robson Company’s Ideology : Aesthetics, Client Relationship, Sustainability Synopsis : Denisa got a brief from her partner, Martin. Then they both went to a meeting and it ended when two out of three proposals for a park (site) were recommended. Denisa went back to her table and overheard a conversation between two employees in the office. One of them was telling that the council had some terms, then another man suggested that he should play along very creatively (aesthetics).

Randomer 5 : Violeta Petrova Film 1 min Practice : Stephen George International Company’s Ideology : Client Relationship, Sustainability, Time, Quality, Context Money, Balance Synopsis : Violeta went to Bulgaria for her work experience. The film showed a client who was happy with the architect’s proposal. Violeta presented her works in an in-house meeting to people atthe practice including the client.

Everyone at the meeting gave her lots of ideas such as how the building should look, would it be sustainable ? and would it have visual impact.

Randomer 6 : Marcin Wozniak Film 42 secs Practice : panter hudspith architects Company’s Ideology : Quality, Context, Aesthetics, Sustainability Synopsis : The film started with a client thinking about the building that he wanted to build on a site. He was also thinking about the budget for it. At an architectural office, an architect got a call from this client, then he proposed two buildings with same height but a planning officer suggested that the buildings should have different heights. The film wanted to show how the proposal was changed by out-house people, in this case, the planning officer.
