Obituaries Donald Ussery, Sr.

Donald Gene Ussery, Sr., age 80, of Gravois Mills, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was born Dec. 14, 1935, in Kansas City, the first of three children, to Issac Sylvester Ussery and Edna Pearl (Driver) Ussery, both of Kansas City. He attended rural schools in Saline County, and worked as a mechanic for most of his adult life. He enjoyed drag racing and boat racing. He eventually moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, began a new business called “Ussery’s Marine Service,” and traveled throughout the United States to participate in racing events with his boat, “Dad’s Toy.” Later in his life he married Pamela Kay (Walters) Ussery Feb. 14, 1992, in Miami, Okla. She preceded him in death Aug. 6, 2016. He is survived by sons Donald Evans, Jr. of Sedalia, and William Ussery of Gravois Mills; daughters Deborah Russell and husband Kenneth of Bakersfield, Calif., Jeannie Bramwell and husband Bryon of Warrensburg, Donna Reed of Tonganoxie, Kan., Tacy Keller and husband Michael of Dayton, Ohio; Edna Delcoure and husband Charles of Tulsa, Okla.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and greatgreat-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Shirley and Shelly; stepmother Amy Ussery; son Donald Ussery, Jr.; and daughter Denise Richardson. A celebration of life observance will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 17, by Pastor Lynn Facemyer at the United Methodist Church in Gravois Mills. Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. to noon and the celebration of life service will begin at noon. The time and place of inurnment will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggeted to Gary Walters, 22224 Old Five Rd., Versailles, MO 65084, to help cover funeral expenses. arrangements Cremation were under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles. Erma Lee Tucker

Erma Lee Tucker, 88, of Cole Camp, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. She was born Aug. 4, 1928, in Cole Camp, a daughter of Alvin T. and Alma (Beckman) Behrens. She was baptized Sept. 14, 1928, and confirmed July 27, 1941, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cole Camp. She married L. Oscar Tucker June 6, 1948, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cole Camp. Pastor Renz officiated. She was a member of United Lutheran Church in Cole Camp. She taught school at Lake Creek Country School and was a telephone operator at the Cole Camp telephone office. She is survived by daughter Brenda McNish and husband Russell of Sedalia; son L. David Tucker and wife Judy of Cole Camp; sister Lois Viebrock of Versailles; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and sister Ethelene Gerken. Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, at United Lutheran Church, Cole Camp, with Pastor Marvin Stuenkel officiating. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery in Cole Camp. Pallbearers were Tim Thompson, Eric Tucker, Robert Napier, Russell McNish, Brent Otten, and Justin Kyle. Memorial contributions were suggested to Memorial Cemetery in care of the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp. Arrangements were under direction of Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp.

Joyce Darlene Frampton

Joyce Darlene Frampton, 93, of Versailles, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. She was born Sept. 1, 1923, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of the late Rudolph and Madeline (Yuneman) Rensner. She enjoyed singing and yodeling. At age 16, she performed on live radio with The Westernaires in Chicago. Later, she performed with the Golden Girls, entertaining at various nursing homes and hospitals. Herbert L. Bultemeier

Herbert L. Bultemeier, age 81, of Sunrise Beach, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. He was born October 29, 1934, in Florence, Missouri, a son of the late Walter and Nadine (Worthley) Bultemeier. On October 30, 1954, he was united in marriage to his surviving wife, Martha (Combs) Bultemeier. Herbert and Martha spent many years as “weekenders” at the Lake of the Ozarks and retired in 1995, making the lake their permanent home. Herbert was employed at Bendix in Kansas City for twenty-three years. He established Bultemeier Enterprises, a machine and manufacturing shop he operated for many years. Herbert was a member of the Raytown Optimist Club for seventeen years and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association for many years. In addition to his wife, Martha of sixty-one years, he is survived by his son, Patrick Bultemeier and wife Becky of Howard, Colorado; three grandchildren, Hunter Bultemeier, Jason Rupniewski and Lisa Rupniewski; his daughter-in-law, Cheryll Bultemeier of Blue Springs, Missouri and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Bultemeier, his son, Michael Lee Bultemeier and a grandson, Graham Bultemeier. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 8th, at the West Lake Christian Church in Laurie with Pastor Kelly Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the church. Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia. Robert “Bob” C. Viebrock, 67, of Smithton, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover. Lillian Omega Cox, age 88, of Eldon, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at the Miller County Care Center in Tuscumbia. She was born Feb. 23, 1928, in Etterville, a daughter of the late Roy P. and Lillian Esther (Miller) Hinds. She married Arley Cox, who preceded her in death July 10, 1989. She was a member of the Aurora Springs Baptist Church in Aurora Springs. She is survived by sister Joan Hees of Eldon; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son Wayne Cox and sisters Peggy Lou Madole and Billie Sue Wieneman. Funeral services were Sunday, Sept. 4, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Graveside services and interment were in the Versailles Cemetery.
