CAMP Rodriguez, Butuan City – The No. 1 most wanted person in the town of Las Nieves, Agusan del Norte fell into the hands of the police, Friday morning.

Captured right in his residence was Marcos L. Palingcod, 36 years old. The arrest was issued by Judge Eduardo S. Casals of RTC Branch 1 (Butuan City) for violation of RA 7610 (Anti-Child Abuse Act). CAGAYAN de Oro City – The Police Regional Office (PRO-13) pushes to upgrade and widen the coverage of its Barangay Peace Keeping Action Teams (BPKAT) program, with the inclusion of marginalized sectors of the society, providing them activities relevant to sustainable development (SD). Judge Godofredo B. Abul, Jr. of RTC Branch 4 (Butuan City) issued the search warrant number 1213-2013 against Anwar Hadji Sarip Jamee who was not around during the operation. Authorities seized 16 sachets of suspected shabu, 2 Nokia cellphones, 2 disposable lighters and Php 15,300.00 cash. CAMP Rodriguez, Butuan City - A warehouse, owned by SUMIFRU Banana Plantation, in Barangay Sta. Fe, Tagbina, Surigao del Sur was burned by three unidentified persons, evening of February 26, this year. Investigation revealed that before the burning incident, two unidentified persons conversed with the two company guards, while their companion maneu-

vered at the back of the warehouse, destroyed its cyclone wire fence, gained entry and threw a lighted improvised lantern, locally known as “ Moron” into the piles of fertilizers sacks and bags of other inflammable materials therein. Smelling the unusual odor of burning materials, two guards trained the fire extinguishers and able to put out the fire. Subsequently, they fired two warning shots

to alarm the troops of 75th IB,PA at nearby barangay. The perpetrators were already gone when the responding soldiers reached the place. CAMP Rodriguez, Butuan City - Along the national highway of Barangay Dughan, Barobo, Surigao del Sur, a Rusi motorcycle accidentally bumped a white Isuzu 10-wheeler truck loaded with Falcata logs, early morning of February 26, this year. Atg the time of the accident, the truck, bearing

license plate number YGF 950, was parked at the right lane of the road, but without an early warning device. The motorcycle was driven by Jezrel Tinambacan Edaño, who was pronounced dead-onarrival by the attending physician at D.O. Plaza Memorial Hospital in Patin-ay, Prosperidad,

CAMP Rodriguez, Butuan City - A man was arrested by patrolling police personnel for failure to present legal documents of the motorcycle he was riding on in Barangay Langihan, this city. Police identified the suspect as Ronnie Garrido Matin-ao, 24 years old, single and a resident of Taurus Street, Barangay J.P. Rizal, Butuan City. Upon verification at the Land Transportation Office (LTO), it was found out that the motorcycle was registered under the name of Bel Gilbert C Suico of

Guingona Subdivision, this city. Follow-up operation led to the recovery of two other motorcycles from the possession of Julieto Macabogto Paguya of Barangay San Vicente and Gil Secoya Olmido of Barangay Doongan. Appropriate case is being readied against Matin-ao, while the three recovered motorcycles are now under the custody of the Theft and Robbery Unit (TRU) of Butuan City Police Station 1 for proper disposition. CAMP Rodriguez, Butuan City - Amid strict implementation of COMELEC gun ban in the entire region, authorities captured one person for carrying an unlicensed firearm, Friday dawn, outside Dakop KTV Bar in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. The suspect was Rico M. Biolelan, 22 years old of Rosario, Agusan del Sur,

who yielded one caliber .38 revolver loaded with three live bullets and a motorcycle. His arrest was made upon report from concerned citizens in the area and as he could not present legal documents to possess and carry the firearm.
