The Hot Sardines, a beloved Brooklynbased group, revives the hot jazz sounds of the 1930s and ‘40s. They masterfully blend brass, piano, and percussion to recreate classic jazz. With their vintage twist and authentic sound, The Hot Sardines are beloved by audiences worldwide.

Step back in time with JUKEBOX SATURDAY NIGHT, a lively homage to the iconic Big Bands of the 1930s, ‘40s, and ‘50s, including Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, Jimmy Lunceford, Artie Shaw, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, and more. This show will captivate all ages with the era’s iconic sounds and lyrics.

Master Donald Harrison, a New Orleansnative saxophonist known for pioneering three influential jazz styles including Nouveau Swing - a blend of modern jazz with hip hop and funk. Notable collaborations include Roy Haynes, Miles Davis, and Notorious B.I.G.

Kandace Springs’ signature mix of jazz, gospel, rhythm & blues, and pop is accentuated with “a voice that could melt snow.” The concert features songs from Springs’ latest Blue Note Records album “The Women Who Raised Me.” She pays tribute to iconic female vocalists like Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Astrid Gilberto, Sade, and Norah Jones.

JOHN LLOYD YOUNG

John Lloyd Young is a Tony, Drama Desk, and Grammy award-winning artist known for his multifaceted career spanning film and stage, particularly as the original “Frankie Valli” in Jersey Boys. Young was hand-picked by director Clint Eastwood to reprise his role in the film adaptation. Young performs vocals from the 1950s and ‘60s, accompanied by a pianist.

CELIA CRUZ CENTENNIAL 1925-2025

A tribute to the Queen of Salsa, featuring a special appearance by Lucrecia as Celia Cruz accompanied by the Celia Cruz All Stars.
Cuban artist Lucrecia embodies Celia Cruz, accompanied by the Celia Cruz All-Stars, in a night reverberating with Cruz’s original La Sonara Matancera music charts and greatest hits—a rare experience featuring vintage arrangements from what is considered Cruz’s golden era, 1950 to 1965.

Pinecrest Gardens will host a documentary exhibition leading up to the concert, showcasing an array of Cruz’s historical photos, dress, and other memorabilia. The exhibition will be on view through February 2.

Imagine Count Basie went to Rio de Janeiro and combined his big band with a samba school. This is Gafieira Rio Miami, the 11-piece band led by Latin Grammy award-winning bassist Diogo Brown. The concert features Grammy awardwinning guest percussionist Tony Succar, vocalist Isa Duarte, and world champion ballroom dancers Carine Morais and Rafael Barros.

Multi-Grammy and Billboard Award-winning Chino Nuñez presents the evolution of salsa music, tracing its roots through the rich tapestry of jazz, mambo, merengue, and cha-cha. Nuñez will illustrate how these vibrant genres merged to create salsa, captivating audiences with both the history and rhythms of Latin America and New York City’s iconic nightlife.
