¿Quién es este personaje que conocemos como iKartoon? ¿De dónde ha salido? Y, sobre todo, ¿A dónde va?

La primera pregunta no es que sea la más fácil de contestar, pero quizás sea la única que podamos hacer con un mínimo de coherencia.

Y es que iKartoon no es más que la expresión física del desencanto y desconcierto de gran parte de la sociedad que, como usted y como yo, nos sentimos perplejos ante la capitalización total del mundo y la capitulación final de la sociedad ante el poder. iKartoon no posee absolutamente nada, de tal forma que, sin posesiones materiales a través de las cuales valorar y medir su presencia en este mundo, ha dejado, precisamente, de tener presencia, de tener un rostro visible y específico.

Además, piensa que no puede hacer nada por mejorar su situación; así que, empujado por la vergüenza de lo que entiende una mala pauta social y la indiferencia del resto de miembros de la sociedad, se ha ido haciendo cada vez más invisible, tanto para ella misma como para los demás.

Pero nadie es invisible del todo y, finalmente, dimos con iKartoon ¿Cómo? Permítannos mantener el secreto y no contestar a la pregunta que abría estas líneas.

En cualquier caso, y a pesar de que somos igual de invisibles que iKartoon, todavía no hemos aceptado que no podamos hacer nada para, como se suele decir, poner un poco de cordura en este loco mundo.

Así, y desde el primer momento, vimos que iKartoon si poseía algo, algo mucho más valioso que cualquier posesión material, era la capacidad de convertirse en cualquier persona que él quisiera a voluntad, sin casi proponérselo, como si fuera el reverso mágico de la invisibilidad. Eso abría infinitas posibilidades, y así se lo hicimos ver. Finalmente, iKartoon decidió que ya era hora de desarrollar ese potencial, decantándose por la que ella entendió como la forma más pura de arte, aquella que nace desde y se desarrolla por entero con el cuerpo humano: la performance.

De todo aquello nació el proyecto Misery, del que Colectivo Komite no sólo ha sido testigo, sino que ha atestiguado y documentado.

Por último, nos quedaba tratar de contestar a la tercera pregunta: ¿A dónde se dirige iKartoon?

Desde luego, no a un sitio concreto o, al menos, a un solo sitio concreto. Quizás, ni siquiera se dirija a un lugar físico. Pero, sea donde sea, Colectivo Komite allí estará.
