Brothers & Friends? In keeping with the 100 year celebrations which have occurred over this past year, we are excited to welcome back our national magazine, The Triangle. This edition introduces our new National Council, outlines our 100 year history, provides an update on our Educational Foundation?s efforts, and offers some unique perspectives from contributing writers who want to showcase the experiences of our brothers, and highlight the awesome work of our collegiate and alumni members. The National Council, Foundation Trustees, and the National Office staff hope that this new and improved magazine will act as a catalyst for the change we as Phi Mu Delta men, hope to inspire, whether through our daily actions, words, or interactions with others. It has been Phi Mu Delta?s mission for some time now, to create a space that allows men of character to be different and more unique than their peers? our daily work as brothers and friends is to redefine fraternity, one man at a time, and this mission remains as much a part of our soul and drive as it did 100 years ago. Two and a half years ago, when I first joined Phi Mu Delta at my alma mater, Longwood University, one of my chapter brothers told me something that I still think about today; he said ?allow yourself to change the brotherhood and the brotherhood will in turn change you.? I have held this bit of advice with me and it guides my actions and thoughts each day, when it comes to developing and advancing our great fraternity. In following that brother?s advice, I leave you with one quick but also complex question: what can you do to advance the Fraternity?s mission of redefining fraternity, one man at a time?
