fter her U.S. Women’s Open win in 2015 at Lancaster Country Club, In Gee Chun donated $10,000 to help launch a foundation to give back to the local community, ultimately, becoming known as the In Gee Chun LCC Educational Foundation. It was built with the specific intent of benefiting Lancaster Country Club caddies, employees, and their dependents, as they seek to further their educational pursuits. Since 2015, In Gee has made an annual trip to LCC, even during the COVID-19 pandemic when she came not only to play with members, but to practice too. In Gee recently won the 2022 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md. As it was a short drive, In Gee made the trip to Lancaster to visit the club that she calls her second home. The foundation has grown to providing around 20 scholarships this year.
