“It is not possible for you to know whether you enjoy something until you try it for the first time, so get involved!”

Extra Curricular at Prince Henry’s

Here at Prince Henry’s, we value the learning you experience through extracurricular activities. We are proud of the extensive range of clubs and trips on offer that aim to provide something that will meet the needs and interests of all students. Our extra-curricular activities allow students to excel in areas such as Sport, Music, Science, Art, Drama and many more. We believe they give you the confidence to interact with others, extend your social networks beyond existing friendship groups, and provide you with new skills and abilities. You may not be aware that we offer over 40 different clubs throughout the week that you can get involved in. Furthermore, our plethora of school trips contribute to building students’ social and emotional skills as well as developing a better appreciation for the world. Prince Henry’s Sports Tour, Ski Trip, Music Tour, Berlin Trip, Duke of Edinburgh Awards and the Battlefields Trip are just some of the many trips we run.

We have created an online information booklet including which clubs are on, when they are on, who they are for and a brief

description of what you can expect if you come along. You can find this information under the extra-curricular tab on the website. By using the arrows, you will be able to see the day-by-day programme. This way all the information is in one place and there are no excuses for not getting involved!

We offer clubs at both lunchtimes and afterschool. However, if you would like to attend any after school extra-curricular activities or fixtures, we will require consent from a parent or carer. This needs to be done through the SIMS app which will be rolled out at the start of the academic year. If you are still unsure of where to find this information, please ask your teachers.

We want you to pursue your passions, raise your aspirations and develop your skills while immersing yourselves in the wider school community of Prince Henry’s High School, so get involved!
