Celebrating our 40th Anniversary in 2012 Dear Colleagues, 2012 marks a very special milestone in our history—it’s our 40th anniversary! As we head into the New Year, we pay tribute to the commitment and dedication of all members of our Leisureworld Senior Care Corporation family, both past and present, who have made our organization what it is today — a leader in providing quality care for our residents and clients. This is an exciting time and we have a number of initiatives and events planned in 2012 to commemorate this special occasion. In addition to creating a commemorative 40th anniversary logo, which will appear on our communications and letterhead, celebratory banners will be placed in our homes and offices across the organization, informal celebrations will be held at each location, and employees will receive a small commemorative 40th anniversary gift to mark this occasion. Our annual Art of Living Exhibit in June will also showcase our vibrant history and some of our long-time staff members will be sharing their stories and memories in each issue of our In The News newsletter throughout 2012. You will be hearing more about our 40th anniversary initiatives and events in the weeks and months ahead. I have been privileged to be an employee of this organization for over half of its history and I would like to say what a pleasure it is to work with such a dedicated team of people. I greatly appreciate the valuable contributions all of our employees have made over the last 40 years and I look forward to the next 40 years as we continue to pursue opportunities for future growth and improvement while delivering quality care to our residents and clients.
