There was therefore no need to worry that we would have difficulty dealing with COVID-19 pneumonia patients, as we had had an excellent record in the treatment of these patients:

(Table taken from the upcoming book, The Benefits and Risks of Vaccination—A Holistic Perspective) Early in the epidemic, I was able to put homeopathy to the test by assisting a physician in France who was in charge of a nursing home and of a physician in Turkey who was working in the hospitals with severe COVID-19 patients.

The results of these experiences and others have reported in written and recorded conferences.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have made at least ten other presentations on how to deal with the COVID-19 patient. Many of these presentations can still be viewed online and you find a list of some of them at the end of this paper.

As a profession we have had tremendous success during this pandemic both for the prevention and the treatment of the acute and long COVID-19 and vaccine injury patients.

Today I will present the highlights of our clinical experience.

Prevention of COVID-19 with homeoprophylaxis For the original Wuhan virus and the Alpha, Beta and Delta variants, Bryonia was used successfully for the prevention.

It is unknown how many took Bryonia regularly. I would estimate only about 50%, as many would take the Bryonia in certain times only, such as when flying or during large indoors meetings. †

The son’s of my patient was so worried about his mother’s health that within an hour after I had first contacted her, he brought her to the hospital, despite her opposition to leave her home and that within 30 minutes of taking the first dose of the prescribed remedy, she felt “completely changed,” and with most of her symptoms, fever, chest pain and chills, were better or gone. The doctors at the hopsital found her to be “healthy,” but they kept her in order to “watch” her. She was hospitalized for six days, despite her wishes to return home. §

Dr. Rohrer’s protocol was “Bryonia 30 once a week and after a suspicious contact another dose of Bryonia 30. The number of about 50 people who got Corona nevertheless took Bryonia is quite high for me, but the advantage is, that everyone who took the Bryonia had a very mild disease, nobody was severe sick, nobody had to be sent to hospital and of course, nobody died.” §§

All nine out of seventy-five persons who got COVID-19 and taken Bryonia got mild cases, many of whom where over 80 years old and a couple in their 90’s. ***

Four of these six people are exposed on working days to people.

Also up to the Omicron wave, Bryonia was used with success therapeutically in about 70% of the COVID-19 patients.

The other 30% of the patients called for other remedies, such as Arsenicum album, Phosphorus, Sulphur, Nux vomica, Pulsatilla, or the chronic remedy they needed before they develop COVID-19.

However during the Omicron wave that is from mid-December until the end of March, Carboneum oxygenisatum was the remedy that was indicated in close to 90% of the cases.

Since the advent of the BA.2 and other variants in the last four to six weeks, no dominant remedy has so far emerged.

Dr. Michel de Sonnaville answered: “At least 100 of my patients took Bryonia preventatively on a regular basis. But I encouraged them to also give Bryonia to their loved ones, their neighbors etc. One person gave it to at least 11 other people. Many people gave it to their partner and/or their children.” §§§

These 8 severe cases had taken Bryonia as a prophylaxis. However, none were in the hospital, but it is likely under conventional care they would have been in the hospital. “I have only had one patient actually admitted to the hospital and he was not taking Bryonia for prevention. Three others of my patients went to the hospital but were sent home with only oxygen. None of these had taken Bryonia either.” **** ††††

These three people had “significant known exposure.”

All three took Bryonia 10M when they fell sick and recovered quickly.

5 In April and May 2020, members of the Materia Medica Pura Project complete a proving of Carboneum oxygenisatum, which can be found in the large monograph of this remedy that is part of your package of documents I sent you.

It is interesting to note that there exists hundreds of reports of carbon monoxide poisoning in the medical literature, but there were no proving and this is the reason that we initiated one as soon as we noticed that the pathology of carbon monoxide poisoning resembled like a glove the one COVID-19.

However, we began prescribing in the early part of the epidemic Carboneum oxygenisatum on the basis of its toxicology and we began accumulating much clinical symptoms.

It was interesting to note that when the proving came out the symptoms of the proving corresponded like a glove to the toxicology and to the cured clinical symptoms, which is the reverse way of the typical homeopathic way of functioning.

We typically begin with a proving and the materia medica subsequently grows with the accumulation of cured or clinical symptoms.

Carboneum oxygenisatum has been indicated in all stages of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, from the acute to the long haulers patients and the ones who were damaged by the vaccine.

Further it was used successfully for the prevention of COVID-19 during the Omicron wave of the pandemic.

Comparison of CO poisoning and COVID-19 pathology Carboneum oxygenisatum is the remedy made from carbon monoxide, whose symptomatolgy of intoxication is almost a perfect match for the toxicity of the Sprotein of this virus.

It is interesting to note that population at greater risk of health effects to CO exposure include aged people with co-morbidities, such as cardiovascular diseases, anemia and other blood disorders, chronic lung diseases such as chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. 1 - Both COVID-19 and the acute and chronic states of CO poisoning resemble an influenza-like illness with chill, shivering, teeth chattering, fever, body aches and hallucinations.

- Many COVID-19 patients first experience dyspnea with a mild cough and great weakness with slight exertion similar to cases of slow CO poisoning.

- Both experience great weakness that is characterized by extreme lethargy.

6 - Both can have bloody sputum.

- Both conditions are marked by hypoxia.

- Both can experience shakiness and faintness.

- Both can experience nausea, poor appetite, anorexia, vomiting, diarrhea with abdominal pain, dehydration and weight loss.

- Both the COVID-19 and the CO poisoned patients want to lie down while experiencing extreme fatigue and prolonged sleepiness for several days (“I have never slept so much in my life”).

- Both can experience a burning sore throat and nasal discharges.

- Both can experience burning chest pain with pronounced shortness of breath, wheezing, and chest congestion.

- Both can experience violent or persisting headaches.

- Both present with cytokine storms.

- Both develop pneumonia.

- Both can develop into acute respiratory distress syndrome.

- Both characteristically present with constriction and oppression of the chest with palpitation, tachycardia and tachypnea.

- On auscultation both with present with decreased breath sounds and scattered rales and rhonchi.

- Both will present apnea and Cheynes-Stokes breathing.

- Both develop pronounced non-cardiogenic pulmonary and intra-alveolar edema.

- On gross examination in both COVID-19 and CO poisoning, the lungs are edematous and vivid-red (described as carmine red 2 for CO poisoning) with the absence of mucous secretion or hemorrhage.

- Both show ground-glass appearance of the lungs on X-ray, as with SARS and MERS. (“The ground-glass appearance was the most common finding, usually representing the initial manifestation of acute carbon monoxide poisoning. This was observed in 11 cases: 6 cases as the only manifestation.” 3 The ground-glass appearance was the most common roentgen finding of acute carbon monoxide poisoning, usually representing the initial chest manifestation. This lesion presents as a soft, veil-like, homogeneous density occurring predominantly in the peripheral portions of the lung.4)

7 - Both can develop into respiratory failure.

- Both can develop into multi-organ failure.

- Both develop vascular blood clots, which can lead to pulmonary embolism, venous sinus thrombosis, ischemic strokes, heart attacks, intestinal necrosis and deep vein thrombosis.

- Both conditions are characterized by arrhythmias, angina, myocarditis, vasculitis, heart infarction, heart scarring and heart failure.

- Both can end up with kidney injury and kidney failure.

- Both conditions are marked by elevated CK and myopathies. In other coronavirus infections, as in CO poisoning, rhabdomyolysis has been reported.

- Both develop gangrenous sores over the sacrum or other parts of contact.

- Both have chilblains or COVID-19 toes.

- Both can develop neuropsychiatric conditions ranging considerably across both the central and peripheral nervous system, including encephalitis, meningitis, hemorrhagic encephalopathy, short and long-term cognitive impairment, headache and dizziness, tinnitus, extreme lethargy, alterations in consciousness, agitation, anxiety, depression, mood swings, confusion, delusions, delirium, insomnia, rapid mood changes, lapses of memory, word hunting while talking, inattention, difficulty concentrating, thinking, and focusing on simple tasks, disorientation, poorly organized movements, ataxia, seizures, eating disorders, smell, taste and vision impairments, polyneuropathies, all types of paresthesia throughout the body, including tingling, pins and needles and vibratory sensation, and nerve pain.

- Both can present with diffuse corticospinal tract signs with enhanced tendon reflexes, ankle clonus and bilateral extensor plantar reflexes (a.k.a. the Babinski’s response).

- Both can develop impaired liver function.

- Both develop reflux and heartburn.

- Both have conjunctivitis.

- Both develop hyperthermia at the beginning and hypothermia as there are progressing in the collapse state.

- Both COVID-19 and CO poisoned patients can develop significant metabolic acidosis.

8 - Both will present with elevated levels of LDH, CRP, ESR, D-dimer, troponin I, liver enzymes, WBC and neutrophils.5,6,7,8 - Both COVID-19 and CO poisoned patients develop erythematous rashes and vesicular eruptions, and gangrene in their later stage.

- Pediatric inflammatory multisystem syndrome temporally associated with SARSCoV-2 (PIMS-TS) and CO poisoning shares many symptoms such as vasculitis, arrhythmias, and cardiomyopathy, elevated cardiac enzymes, conjunctivitis, skin rash, erythema, edema of the hands and feet, vomiting and diarrhea with abdominal pain, low lymphocyte and platelet count, elevated CRP, ferritin, D-dimer, procalcitonin and interleukin-6, and diffuse edema.

As far as my experience goes, long-haulers have responded well to the remedy they needed when they were in the first stage of COVID-19, such Bryonia alba, or in the later stage of the disease, such as Carboneum oxygenisatum, or to the remedy they needed before they fell sick to COVID-19, which is a good example of individual susceptibility to chronic diseases, as it was originally reported by Hahnemann in his Chronic Diseases.

The genius of Carboneum oxygenisatum The most characteristic symptoms of Carboneum oxygenisatum are a pronounced state of apathy or lethargy associated with extreme weakness that is worse from slight mental and physical exertion. The patient wants to lie down, rest and sleep, and is better in the fresh air. The SOB is worse from slight exertion, and especially ascending stairs. Good confirmatory symptoms include a cough that tends to be short and dry and is worse from deep breathing (3), talking (3), drinking (2), motion (2), lying down (2) and on inspiration (2).

Incidentally with the new Carboneum oxygenisatum monograph, 2,225 new entries have been made to the Complete Repertory 4.5, which originally had 280 entries and now has a total of 2,505 entries, or close to 800% increase in the number of entries.

Some surprising findings noticed following the prescription of Carboneum oxygenisatum I want to point out some surprising findings noticed from the prescription of Carboneum oxygenisatum. A number of patients have reported feeling much better after recovering from oftentimes-serious COVID-19 with Carboneum oxygenisatum compared to before ever falling acutely sick.

For instance, a woman, who is a writer in her mid-forties, developed COVID-19. She recovered steadily but surely under this remedy. The first day back to work she

9 noticed that her writing was the best she had ever had. It was clear, creative and very intuitive. She asked me if it was due to Carboneum oxygenisatum she had taken during her illness. I said, “Perhaps.“ She noticed two weeks later that this clarity and easy to write aptitude had faded away and she decided to repeat the Carboneum oxygenisatum without asking me. The next day she noticed the same clarity of mind and ease to write creatively had returned.

A 74-year old allopathic physician with stage IV prostate cancer, heavy metal neuropathy and possible myasthenia gravis initiated homeopathic treatment in October 2021, which was followed by a favorable response. However, in mid-January he developed COVID-19 with symptoms of extreme weakness, sleepiness and very poor cognition. He didn’t call me and instead waited until our regular appointment to report the covid state. I told him that he should have called me earlier and responded, “You can also deal with covid?” He was prescribed Carboneum oxygenisatum in ascending potencies from 1M, 10M, 50M, CM, 125M, 150M, 175M, 200M, 225M, 250M, 275M and 300M. Not only all the symptoms that had appeared since the covid disappeared but he reported improvement of his chronic symptoms.

He asked, if this remedy is supposed to get rid of HAs. I asked him why and said, “Because I am Has every day of my life since the age of 7 and they are gone.” He had never reported his longstanding Has to me before.

Acute states of infection are great opportunity to speed up the healing of chronic diseases This is a good example on how acute states of infection are great opportunities for patients to greatly improve their chronic state. Another recent example of this phenomenon is the one of this 43 years old woman who twenty years earlier had quit her studies in the midst of her third year in medical school due to severe scleroderma. I first prescribed a remedy to her on February 17, 2022, to which she responded quickly and decidedly.

In the third week of April, which about eight weeks after having initiated treatment she developed the return of an old recurrent state of acute sinusitis, sore throat, fever, chill, weakness, HA, etc. She was told to take her chronic remedy every hour when awake for the next 48 hours, after which she reported that all the symptoms of the acute infection were gone, but most amazingly she noticed that her scleroderma symptoms had improved dramatically within those 48 hours as she had went from 15 ulcers on her fingers before we initiated treatment two months ago and six before the acute to only two small ones at the end of the acute condition.

Further she reported that the skin of her fingers had become very smooth over these two days.

Similarly with COVID-19, it was an occasion for many to do house cleaning, better known as a healing crisis, which is good time to reset the organism.

10 Some interesting points on posology Because the posology is always individualized optimally in each patient at each visit, we found out that, perhaps due to the aggressivity of COVID-19 and the tendency to be resistant to treatment.

Optimal posology means optimal potency, repetition and way of administering the remedy. Therefore in severe COVID-19 patients, it was not unusual to repeat a 10M potency every hour as long as the patient is awake for one or two days.

Further because on this frequent repetition of the remedy, the potency was changed more often than usual in acute cases of pneumonia.

This applied especially to Carboneum oxygenisatum. For instance, it was not unusual to use after the acute state to use the CM potency q3h for five days and then switch to 125M q3h for another five days, which was followed by 150M q4h for five days and so on.

Patients with COVID-19 vaccine adverse events and how to treat them I have seen just a few patients with vaccine injury, but I have heard of many cases that have occurred in the family members of my patients, such as myocarditis, idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura and herpes zoster, and I have also witnessed the exacerbations of chronic diseases such as Parkinson’s disease.

Principles of treatment for patients with adverse events from COVID-19 vaccines would be the same as in any other patient: address the cause of disease and support the organism to heal.

Perhaps the most dramatic case I have seen of having experience a COVID-19 vaccine adverse event is the one of a 66-year old woman, who used to love her job as a psychologist in a nursing home. She didn’t want to be vaccinated, but in order to continue doing what she loved to do she accepted being vaccinated. She had never had any chronic disease before receiving the Pfizer vaccine on January 28, 2021. The following day she noticed feeling tired. Within one week she couldn’t rise from a chair or ascend stairs. She was hospitalized and was diagnosed with antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis, a blood vessels inflammation that leads to tissue necrosis. She went into renal failure and heart failure that were complicated with MRSA and was in and out of ICU for many months. She has been on dialysis ever since this adverse event. When urinating on her own, her urine has remained colorless for the last year. On the evening of April 20, 2022, she took her first dose of a homeopathic remedy and noticed the next morning that her urine was colored and continued to remained colored. She also reported experiencing a physical sensation in her kidneys and that the washed out

11 feeling she had been experiencing since the vaccine was gone, and which was replaced by a clear regain of energy.
