IN THE SPOTLIGHT Welcome Maxine Roberts!

We are pleased to announce that Maxine Roberts will be joining us as our new Head of Resourcing on 5th September.

Maxine is a resourcing and talent expert with a wealth of experience, and has worked in senior talent acquisition roles for a number of large businesses, including most recently The Orders of St John Care Trust, and previously Dyson Technology and WHSmith.

Maxine will lead the Resourcing team in developing and delivering a brilliant talent acquisition strategy; will support the evolution of our diversity and employer brand strategy; and will help deliver our mission to enrich the lives of young people, through the amazing colleagues who join our business.

Maxine lives in Cirencester with her family and in her (limited) spare time enjoys travelling.

Maxine is very much looking forward to meeting everyone and has already spent a couple of days getting to know her new team. And to make life a little easier, Adam Brierley will be staying on until mid-September to hand over to Maxine.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT -

We wanted to take the opportunity to recognise Joshua Hicks for an outstanding act of bravery.

Three Cheers for Joshua Hicks!

Joshua, who is an AIGL at Beam House, rescued an individual who was unconscious and drowning at sea on Sunday night, staying in the water supporting them for 30 minutes until the coastguard arrived.

The individual has recovered in hospital and since met with Joshua to thank him.

A huge well done to Joshua for saving the individual's life!
