IN THE SPOTLIGHT Osmington Bay Charity Auction

Each year, Osmington Bay hosts a charity auction, but this time, instead of only inviting Osmington Bay colleagues, the team would like to open a select number of items for the group to bid on!

The last auction raised £8000 so we're aiming much higher this time round! The charities are Friends of M.V. Freedom and LoveOliver. Bids will need to be sent to jonathan.neale@pgl.co.uk by Saturday 2nd July.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT Brighton Marathon Donations

We sent out an email a couple of months ago on behalf of Ryan Ripley (Guestcare Manager at Barton Hall) and Toby Hafter-Smith (Chief Instructor at Osmington Bay), who were running the Brighton Marathon in memory of a dear colleague and friend Chris, asking for any support you could give in raising funds for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).

Ryan and Toby raised £3070.00, and the PGL Group offered to match the donations, which have now been made, adding another £3070.00 bringing the total to...

£6140.00!

Congratulations to Ryan and Toby for finishing the marathon and for their efforts in raising money for the charity and thank you to everyone who kindly donated to the cause!

IN THE SPOTLIGHT 65 Challenges for 65 Years

Yesterday, the ‘65 Challenges for 65 years’ was launched in order to celebrate PGL’s 65th Birthday!

Anyone from any centre/support centre can enter a challenge by sending a photo, video or document to fun@pgl.co.uk, where they will be logged.

The team with the most entries by the 2nd September will win! To make it easier, all centres have been grouped together in regions and will be captained by the ROMs. There will be updates on how the teams are getting on in the upcoming weeks, but if you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact Charlotte Dobbins.

CONGRATULATIONS! Floyd Clements Floyd has been appointed as Senior Maintenance Operative at Bawdsey Manor, where he previously worked as Maintenance Operative. He started his new role on the 13th June.

Cassie Newton Cassie has been appointed as Centre Operations Manager at Bawdsey Manor, where she previously worked as Guest Care Manager. She started her new role on the 20th June.

Maddie Seeley Maddie has been appointed as Guest Welfare Manager at Beam House, where she previously worked as AIGL Team Leader. She'll be in the role from July until September.
