As I enter my first full golf season, I would like to thank everyone at Bermuda Run Country Club for making me feel welcome. Over the past few months we have made great strides to improve both golf courses. I hope everyone has noticed the hard work of the Greens and Grounds Staff. We were recently visited by Patrick O’Brien, Senior Agronomist with the USGA Green Section. He was thoroughly impressed with the golf course considering the winter we experienced. Our greens continue to improve along with the fairways and tees. Over the next few months, we will pay extra attention to what I call “Down the Middle.” Given our budget, equipment and staff, the Greens and Grounds Department will focus much of their attention to the playability of the golf course. This includes: Greens, Tees, Fairways, Bunkers and Roughs. As time and budget allow, we will work our way to the perimeters of the golf course. During the past few months, I have met many great members and hope to meet more. At anytime, feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns.
