The Abaco Distr began with Pre-Convention services held on Wednesday and Thursday nights. On Wednesday 22nd, members around the island participated in a hybrid Night of Prayer. The island Church came together to intercede in preparation for Convention 2023, so that God would reign supreme, above all. Pastor Chirnus Isidore, the speaker for the evening was filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. He rightly dissected the word of God to remind the congregation of the power of God's saving grace.

The evening of the 23rd was one of joyous celebration as 3 deacons and 1 elder were ordained to the gospel ministry. It was truly a high day in Zion as the saints praised God for His faithfulness in the lives of those who were set apart for His cause. We continue to praise God for His leading thus far and look forward to Him receiving all the glory and honor due to His name as Convention 2023 officially begins this evening, February 25th.

The Gospel to the Poor Christ came to preach the gospel to the poor. He reached the people where they were. He brought plain, simple truth to their comprehension. How simple His language! Even the poorest, the unlearned and ignorant, could understand Him. Not one needed go to a dictionary to obtain the meaning of the highsounding titles or words that fell from the lips of the greatest Teacher the world ever knew. While the priests, the rulers, and the expounders of the law were considering themselves as the only teachers of the people, He told these learned rabbis that they were both ignorant of the Scriptures and of the power of God (The Review and Herald, July 19, 1887).

Sabbath February 25th: After Sabbath School has been adjourned, each member is asked to WhatsApp as many persons as you can informing them of the Sweet Redemptive Expo ’23 Series and that they have been chosen as a special guest to the series. SHARE THE ELECTRONIC INVITATION WITH THEM.
Tuesday, February 28th to Friday, March 10th: Beginning of Ten Days of Prayer Across the Conference. During those 10 days, everyone conducts Acts of Kindness to seven (7) or more persons.
Wednesday March 1st: Wednesday Prayer Meeting at home. Every family member on the island and abroad attends Family Altar at home in praying for the Crusade.
Sabbath March 4th: Commitment Sabbath: Invite Friends and Family who are not Adventists to the Sweet Redemptive Expo ’23 Evangelistic Series.
