This is the day that the Lord has made: we will rejoice and be glad in it. Happy Sabbath. A warm welcome to everyone. To our visiting friends, guest of honor, and to the members, Happy Sabbath. God bless you in worship today.

"“The Father loves His people today as He loves His own Son. Someday it will be our privilege to see Him face to face.” (Manuscript 103, 1903)

“We should remember that the church, enfeebled and defective though it be, is the only object on earth on which Christ bestows His supreme regard. He is constantly watching it with solicitude, and is strengthening it by His Holy Spirit.” (Manuscript 155, 1902)

Congratulations is extended to the Freeport Church for a baptism this past Sabbath.

Congratulations to all students who were promoted from grade 6 and those who have graduated from High School and other institutions. Continued blessings.

The President's Desk
Pastor Eric D. Clarke

You are encouraged to be faithful in all things. Lasting things are those that are done for Christ. Return a faithful tithe and freewill offering and watch God open heaven’s windows to bless you.

We must use our time wisely. I encourage you to spend quality time in prayer, the reading of the Bible, the Sabbath school lesson study and your devotional life. You can complete the Bible by reading 3 chapters each day and 5 chapters on 1 day of the week, a total of 23 chapters each week.

Welcome home to the students who were studying abroad. Please share your talents and knowledge with your church over the summer holidays.

Please pray for the persons who are on your sick lists and persons who are bereaved. God is in the healing business. He is more willing to hear than we are willing to ask.

Remember: Bro Ernest Gibson, Sis Vanessa Clarke.

If you or someone that you know would like to be baptized, please inform your Pastor or one of the Elders as we plan for monthly baptisms. The next baptism date is June 24. For those who have not received a baptismal certificate, please contact your Church Clerk. Congratulations to all who were baptized on this past Sabbath and those who will be baptized today.

We have to be intentional and creative in sharing our faith, talking about Jesus, inviting persons to follow Christ and attend church services with us. Let’s share how good God has been to us with two persons or families.

There are a number of persons who are physically challenged, sick, bereaved and experiencing difficulties. We must be mindful, aware and able to offer relevant help in their time of need.

The President's Desk
Pastor Eric D. Clarke

Small group ministry enhances care and friendship in the body and in the community. Groups of twos and threes should be formed in each unit for regular visitation. A board vote is not required.

Evangelism should be integrated in ALL church programs and activities. Let’s share Christ today.

Any person wanting to assist and share their talents with the church is asked to contact the Pastor or Elders. We want you to share your talents with God’s people.

Your Church is delighted to worship with you and your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, classmates, for any special occasion God blesses you with. Please let us know so that we can rejoice with you.

As Jesus rested by faith in the father’s care, so we are to rest in the care of our Saviour. If the disciples had trusted in Him, they would have been kept in peace. Their fear in the time of danger revealed their unbelief. In their efforts to save themselves, they forgot Jesus; and it was only when, in despair of self-dependence, they turned to Him, that He could give them help. The Desire of Ages, p. 188

The Gospel to the Poor—Christ came to preach the gospel to the poor. He reached the people where they were. He brought plain, simple truth to their comprehension. How simple His language! Even the poorest, the unlearned and ignorant, could understand Him. Not one needed go to a dictionary to obtain the meaning of the high-sounding titles or words that fell from the lips of the greatest Teacher the world ever knew. While the priests, the rulers, and the expounders of the law were considering themselves as the only teachers of the people, He told these learned rabbis that they were both ignorant of the Scriptures and of the power of God (The Review and Herald, July 19, 1887).
