In God’s presence there is fullness of joy. Psalm 16:11. Happy Sabbath and greetings to everyone. Today is Thanksgiving Sabbath. Welcome to the house of the Lord. Welcome to worship of the King of kings and Lord of lords. Calm your mind. Life becomes much easier when you keep your mind at peace. We also welcome Sis Dianna Mae Dixon and Sis Yvette Campbell visiting from the United States and celebrating a birthday.

We express congratulations to all the Elders conducting 32 Baptisms on 29 October.

The Family Ministries department thanks all for their hard work, and support during the past weekend especially those from Abaco, Bimini, the Berry Islands, and Grand Bahama. We solicit your prayers as the ATCU conducts its Year-End Executive Committee all day on tomorrow, Sunday and Monday. God’s school, Grand Bahama Academy is on the move. The committed Administrators, teachers and staff make the work easier. We ask for your continued support. We will provide space each week for the Principal and his team to provide updates from GBA Flames. Please support them in their Thanksgiving lunch fundraiser on Wednesday, 30 November.

Prayers are requested for the Turks and Caicos Conference Session which will be held on 3-4 December. The Conference will be represented. All Elders are asked to register at http://everyelderinvolved.org

Efforts are ongoing for the completion of the Hurricane Shelter and Soup Kitchen. Please lend a helping hand as you are able. This week Thursday, saw our Pastors sharing in weekly devotions at the Rand Memorial Hospital where they serve as official Chaplains. You are welcomed to share in the early morning prayer meeting with the 8 Mile Rock family, 6-7 am.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your cares on Him because He cares about you.
