Sabbath November 5th, 2022 In God’s presence there is fullness of joy. Psalm 16:11.

Happy Sabbath and greetings to everyone. Welcome to the house of the Lord. Welcome to

worship of the King of kings and Lord of lords.

We express congratulations to all the Elders for 29 Baptisms last Sabbath, 29 October. We are grateful to all who were the Evangelists during the recent Campaigns, Elders Michael Youte, Marvin Greene, Isaac Collie, Stuart Courtney and Lynden Clarke. Commendations to Elders Aileen Sands and Lueann Thompson for their historic participation.

The North Bahamas Conference extends a very warm welcome to Dr. Leonard and Sis Denise Johnson, today. Dr. Johnson speaks at the 8 Mile Rock Church for Divine Worship. He will speak to all the members this afternoon at 4:30 pm at Freeport. The Abaco District, Bimini and the Berry Islands will join on Zoom and YouTube. Everyone is invited to this special meeting that will allow for questions and answers.

The Family Ministries department has planned a weekend for husbands and wives and those who are in committed relationships and projecting toward marriage; Friday evening18th November and Sabbath evening 19 November. We begin at 7 pm on Friday and Sabbath at 5 pm. This seminar is not just for church members. All attendees in Grand Bahama will meet at the Freeport Church and in Abaco at the Salem Church. Our Presenters will be Dr. Vandeon & Kimberly Griffin from South Central States.

cause of God.

Our school, Grand Bahama Academy is still challenged. The student population is unstable. The computer lab is up and running, thanks to Mr. Roberts and his sister. We ask for your continued support.

Each church will endeavor to celebrate the Communion service during this final quarter of 2022. You are encouraged to participate in this meaningful service.

Prayers are requested for the Turks and Caicos Conference Session (3,4 December) and the South Bahamas Conference Session (13,14 November).

The Atlantic Caribbean Union will hold Year-End meetings from 21-28 of November.

All Elders are asked to register at http://everyelderinvolved.org

Efforts are ongoing for the completion of the Hurricane Shelter and Soup Kitchen. Please lend a helping hand as you are able.

Please remember that time changes this weekend. Remember, “spring forward and fall back.”

You can’t find joy, peace, healing and hope in worldly things or worldly people. Stop looking for all the answers you asked God for, in things and people that aren’t of God. God’s answers are not found in the midst of sin, and there is no healing from the world. Stop expecting the world to give you things only God can give you
