The President's Desk 16 July 2022 This is the day that the Lord has made: we will rejoice and be glad in it. Happy Sabbath. A warm welcome to everyone. To our visiting friends, guest of honor, and to the faithful members, Happy Sabbath. May God abundantly bless you in worship today. “We should remember that the church, enfeebled and defective though it be, is the only object on earth on which Christ bestows His supreme regard. He is constantly watching it with solicitude, and is strengthening it by His Holy Spirit.” (Manuscript 155, 1902) Pastor Clarke

Congratulations to the Sunrise church for a baptism last week and the Freeport Church for 2 baptisms during this past week. The Conference expresses gratitude to Pastor David & Sis Michelle Campbell, for coming to share and encourage us during the past 2 weeks. May God always bless your ministry as you return to the Belize Union. We are happy to have Bible Worker, Bro Salmon for a few more days.

Please pray for the persons who are on your sick lists and persons who are bereaved. God is in the healing business. He is more willing to hear than we are willing to ask. Prayer requests have been received for Bro Ernest Gibson from the 8 Mile Rock Church and Bro Carney Cooper from Freeport and Elder Rick Sands. Sympathies are extended to Sis Lisa Arthur and family on the passing of her husband, Allan. Funeral service at Freeport on Sunday at 1 pm. Sympathies to Sis Mary and the Smith family on the passing of patriarch Bro. Lewis Charles Smith. Funeral service at Freeport on Sunday 24 July at 1pm.

The President's Desk 16 July 2022 You are encouraged to be faithful to God especially during 2022. Lasting things are those that are done for Christ. Return a faithful tithe and freewill offering and watch God open heaven’s windows to bless you. Please note that there is still need for caution for the health concerns around our country. We are collectively affected by the actions of the masses. Continue to observe all health protocols.

Pastor Clarke

You are encouraged to read the Bible through this year. You can complete the Bible by reading 3 chapters each day and 5 chapters on 1 day of the week, a total of 23 chapters each week. Congratulations to those who are celebrating birthdays and wedding anniversaries. Thanks to the Communications Department for creating a new website for the Conference family. Please save and share. THOUGHT FOR TODAY So long as we are in the world, we shall meet with adverse influences. There will be provocations to test the temper; and it is by meeting these in a right spirit that the Christian graces are developed. If Christ dwells in us, we shall be patient, kind, and forbearing, cheerful amid frets and irritations. Day by day and year by year we shall conquer self, and grow into a noble heroism. This is our allotted task; but it cannot be accomplished without help from Jesus, resolute decision, unwavering purpose, continual watchfulness, and unceasing prayer. Each one has a personal battle to fight. Not even God can make our characters noble or our lives useful, unless we become coworkers with Him. Those who decline the struggle lose the strength and joy of victory
