Body found floating in Samsarn Bay

On the 3rd September, Police received a report from Khun Arom Nintra, aged 55, a small fishing boat owner, who explained that as he was fishing earlier in the day he had come across a dead body floating in the water, he had managed to tow it back to the shore and would await the arrival of the police. The police arrived at the scene, Warasin Port, with a Sawing Rescue Team, and were shown the body of a young man, probably aged around 25, nationality unknown, who had been floating face down under a bridge. He was wearing a T-shirt, blue underwear, but no trousers. Upon close examination it became obvious to the officers that there was more to this

than they had first suspected, there were clean signs that the young man had been murdered. It was discovered, from wounds to his head, that he had been hit repeatedly with a steel or metal bar, and that he had been dead for less than 24 hours. No one in the local area knew the identity of the young man or had ever seen him before. The fisherman who discovered the body explained to officers, that once he had made his gruesome discovery, he had no alternative but to tow it back to the shore and alert the authorities. The police will make further investigations to discover the identity of the young man and the events that led to his untimely death.

NEWS

Murderer apprehended

In a news update, the police, after only four days of investigation, held a press conference to announce that they had apprehended the murderer of Mrs. Anong Paetkrathok. The murderer, Mrs. Wan (Toi) Paetkrathok, the dead woman’s sisterin-law, confessed that she had carried out the murder with two accomplices. Her accomplices, Khun (Ef) Kingsukhon, aged 21, from her home town and his girlfriend Jeab who is around 18 or 19 years old. Mrs. Wan, from Nakhon Ratchasima, was arrested at her home the evening before

the press conference. Mrs Wan confessed that she had planned the murder when she found out the deceased would be coming to Pattaya from Koh Larn to do a banking transaction. She approached Anong outside the bank and asked her where she was going next, she replied Siracha, and so she offered her a lift as she had friends going there as well. Whilst taking a shortcut through Huay Yai, Khun Thanorm pulled over to the side of the road, where it was deserted, as he needed to use the bathroom. As they stopped, Jeab, suddenly dragged the woman out of the truck and beat her repeatedly with a plank of wood until she became unconscious. Thanorm then joined in with the beating until Mrs. Anong was dead. The two then dragged her into the field, stole her wallet, got back in the car, and dropped Mrs. Wan off before fleeing in

Fatal Road Accident on South Pattaya Road

The Pattaya Police Station was recently informed of a fatal road accident that had taken place in front of Soi Korphai, South Pattaya Road. Arriving on the scene the police discovered the body of Miss Jilapha Sangkasee, aged 40, a Pattaya resident, lying in the middle of the road. The Sawang Rescue Team attending the accident, informed the police that an injured foreign tourist had already been transferred to the Memorial Hospital for emergency treatment. The dead woman and the injured tourist had both been riding motorbikes, which were badly damaged at the side of the road. Witnesses informed the officers that the dead woman had been riding from the Sukhumvit Road into South Pattaya Road, a pickup

truck driver was driving into Sukhumvit Road, and that the other motorcyclist, at high speed, tried to overtake the pickup truck, however, instead, he managed to crash head on with the dead woman. The Sawang Rescue Team was instructed by the police to take the dead woman to the Banglamung Hospital, where her body will await collection by her family, for the funeral ceremony. The two motorcycles were seized by the police and taken to the local station for further examination. The injured foreigner, Mr. Ronnie Kristiansen, aged 34, from Norway, was still too injured to be interviewed by the officers, he had sustained a broken leg, and the officers will question him as soon as his condition allows, getting his side of the story.

opposite directions. Mrs. Wan explained that she had decided to kill Mrs. Anong when she found out she was having an affair with her husband, Mrs. Anong’s dead husbands brother. When her friends

from her home town came to pay a visit, she explained what was going on, and the plan was hatched. The police have issued warrants for the arrest of Mr. Thanorm and his girlfriend Jaeb.

Bike Thieves Still on Loose

At around 3.30 in the morning of the 10th September, Police Volunteers were doing routine patrols around the dark Sois. Upon arriving in Soi Chaiyapornwithee 19, they spotted 6 teenagers, on three motorbikes, who were acting suspiciously. In an attempt to find out what the young people were doing out at this time in the morning, they attempted to speak to them, however, upon seeing that the police officers were heading in their direction, the bikes were started up, and off they went, quickly followed by the officers. Not surprisingly, the police caught up with two of the boys in Soi Siam Country Club when their motorcycle, a Honda Click, crashed, spilling it’s riders into the road. One of the young men

ran into bushes to hide, whilst the other, jumped into the Mabprachan Lake and attempted to make good his watery escape. One was successful, however, the young man who had opted for the water escape, hardly James Bond material, Prawit Jaroendee,

aged only 16, explained that they had not been up to any mischief, simply hanging around together. With a little more questioning, he confessed that in actual fact they had

been out trying to steal motorcycles. One of the teenagers had been staking out a property for two days, tonight the house was dark, the motorcycle was parked outside, and it had been the perfect time to commit the crime, that is, of course, until they found it chained, and whilst trying to saw off the lock, the owner came to see what they were up to. They had quickly made good their escape, and whilst trying to regroup and calm down, the police had arrived and really spooked them. The police have interviewed the owner of the motorcycle they attempted to steal, and further criminal action will be taken against the young man. Police will, in the mean time, do everything within their power to identify and arrest his five friends.
