For this collection of gifts made of Peruvian stone we are inspired by the singularity and transparency of the white stone of Peru, called Piedra de Huamana. A type of stone similar to marble but lighter in weight and with a transparency similar to salt. Its characteristics make each handmade product unique and unrepeatable. It is like us, we are all unique and unrepeatable. Please enjoy the result of this inspiration.

THE BRAND The story of Hampaj starts with a little girl at her parent’s workshop, both parents artisans, who, playing, passed on their ancestral knowledge to her, full of values and colors flowing from the roots of the motherland that saw them all grow. Time passed, the girl grew up and learned that by dreaming big and making her dreams come true she could generate work and incomes to help her community of artisans to live and knit peacefully.

HAMPAJ, is a Quechua word meaning for you.

Once upon a time there was an Inca Empire in the South of America. These kings of the Andes spoken a sweet language that is still alive in the Peruvian Andes, the Quechua.

THE ARTISANS, Jorge and Susana, were born and live in Ayacucho- Peru, a city 2,700 meters above sea level in the Andes of Peru.

While Jorge cuts the stone, Susana gives the final finishes and etails to each piece. Parents of 5 children, they are both hard working and warm people.

Together with their more than 18 years of experience, we brought this collection of stone products to life.
