JUSTIFICATION
The project is a creative route that started with Playing Identities – Migration, Creolisation, Creation (co-funded by Culture Programme), and continued during the past years with the implementation of several other European projects, such as Innovating Heritage (INHERIT), co-funded by the Europe for Citizens Programme, Landscape Choreography ( C u l t u r e P r o g r a m m e ) a n d Playing Identities – Acting, the Self and Society (LLP Erasmus Intensive Programme)

To experiment processes of artistic creation based on the creolisation of diverse European national theatrical traditions. To enable the participation of the audience in a joint complex work of both cultural production and identity setting around cultural intangible assets.

Creole performances’ edgy topics: • Disconnection: addiction isolation, compulsive behaviour, mood disorders, dependency, insecurity. • This home is not for sale: “We save Roşia Montană” • Migration: a problem with a solution or a solution with a problem? • Identity or Death? The aggressive political and social discrimination against ethnic and sexual minorities

Creaolization is a model for understanding the negoziation of identity in conteporary societies. Identity is the outcome of a collective negotiation on multiple levels. Sharing stories makes space for different interpretations of heritage: this is how we form a common memory, which is the base for a common identity.
