It’s getting busy in the City of Peoria… take a look at some of the special events and activities for the coming months in the City of Peoria. Come out and join us! P83 Party: There is something for everyone in the family at the annual P83 Party with a national music headliner, various amusement activities and games, food trucks, a beer garden, vendors and more. The entertainment kicks off Sat., March 21, on 83rd Avenue, between Stadium Way and Mariners Way (south of Bell Road), just west of the Peoria Sports Complex, following the Spring Training game. Updates and information can be found on our website at www.peoriaaz.gov/NewSecondary.aspx?coll_id=281. Don’t miss out! Mountain Hiking Trails & River Multi-Use Trails: As the spring season begins, it’s the perfect time to get out and get moving on one (or more) of the many trails in the City of Peoria. For maps and information about the New River and Skunk Creek Trail Systems, visit our website at www.peoriaaz.gov/hikingtrails. When enjoying the natural surroundings, please be aware that there are all sorts of users on the trails, both two-legged and more. Trail courtesy dictates that hikers and pedestrians must yield to horseback riders, and bicyclists must yield to both pedestrians and equestrians. Dogs must be on a leash and cleaned up after. Let’s keep the trails clean and safe for all visitors and citizens. Mountain trails are open from dusk to dawn, and the multi-use trails along the river are open until 10:30 p.m.
