REPAIR PROGRAM

Resource Round Up!

Healthy living begins with a healthy diet. That’s why Adelante Healthcare works with the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program. WIC helps those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, and their children under age 5 eat good-for-you foods, at no cost! This valuable program offers Arizona families who qualify essential resources to promote healthy pregnancies, child development, and overall well-being. At their Peoria community healthcare facility, WIC participants receive:

•Nutritional counseling and education

•Healthy food vouchers

•Breastfeeding support

If you live in Arizona, have a nutritional need (the Adelante staff can help you determine this), and are pregnant, breastfeeding within the last year, have recently delivered a child, or have children under the age of 5, you may be eligible to participate in the WIC program. Adelante encourages you to contact their community health team.

WIC at Adelante currently provides services to Peoria residents at the Peoria Resource Center. Appointments are available Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a lunch break from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

To schedule an appointment, please call 480-964-2273.

For general WIC questions or assistance, contact 623-302-9999 or 623-556-8888.
