As an alley of networks, the building takes the city grid on a deconstructive path through its construction. These typologies run from large scale to small scale, distilling and filtering its participants as the space constricts. Similar to a city street system, the building acts as a system for filtering large raw resources.

Drawing inspiration from Renaissance architecture and the leather markets that were created there, the new proposed project is a synthetic leather market, combining memories of the cities booming textile industry while utilizing the river that rests on the sites border. The proposal consumes the once pedestrian bridge, creating a public space that moves through.
