Come share your wisdom and experiences with other people who are caregivers, while learning more about how you can do the job effectively and keep yourself healthy at the same time. Parkinson’s Support Group Meeting Tuesday, December 6, Noon to 1:45 p.m. Anderson Inn, Quarry Hill, 30 Community Drive, Camden The first half of the meeting with be devoted to celebrating the holiday with attendees sharing their own favorite sweets potluck-style along with seasonal beverages provided by Quarry Hill. Afterward, participants will divide into discussion groups where those living with Parkinson’s, their family members and caregivers can explore each other’s unique perspectives and insights. Lung Health Education, Prevention and Wellness Support Group Tuesday, December 27, Noon to 1:00 p.m. (Last Tuesday of every month) Pen Bay Medical Center, 6 Glen Cove Drive, Rockport Held in the Pulmonary Rehab Education Room. Please call 921-8880 for additional information. Christmas Trees for Warmth Support MaineHealth Care at Home by participating in the Christmas Trees for Warmth program. The Auxiliary* supporting the MaineHealth Care at Home Coastal Division, will be sponsoring its fifth annual Christmas Trees for Warmth. Trees will be set up for decorating with hand-made or store-bought hats, mittens, gloves and scarves of all sizes, which will be distributed before Christmas to children and adults in need in our area. The Auxiliary will collect the items from the trees and distribute them to local schools and shelters as well as making the items available to any MaineHealth Care at Home staff member to take to their patients in need. The trees will be located at the following locations: • MaineHealth Care at Home office lobby at 170 Pleasant Street, Rockland. Monday, November 28 through Friday, December 16 • Camden National Bank lobby, Main Street, Rockland. Tuesday, November 29 through Friday, December 16 • Camden National Bank lobby, 145 Elm Street, Camden (in the Hannaford Plaza).
