SOFT TOUCH 2 LEAF REMOVER QUALITY OF MANUAL WORK The new SOFT TOUCH 2 PELLENC vine leaf remover offers irreproachable results: the work is performed cleanly and evenly, as if by hand. Automatic row tracking ensures a constant leaf removal rate and total respect for the grapes. Highly efficient, SOFT TOUCH 2 is also simple in design: it is easy to handle and requires little maintenance. OPERATION OF THE LEAF REMOVING MODULE
Roller brush
Valve
The suction of the leaves is through the striations of the suction roller which catches the leaves, in conjunction with the feed roller rotating in the opposite direction. The wide suction area guarantees a homogeneous leaf removal rate over the entire height of the roller without loss of working height. At the rear, a rotating brush cleans the 2 rollers to limit the deposits of plant debris and ejects the whole leaves, without projection, towards the ground (fall by gravity). This system limits the clogging of the turbine, which does not evacuate the leaves.

SOFT TOUCH 2 SYSTEM It allows automatic row tracking. The suction module is automatically aligned to the plant foliage surface: it moves towards and away according to the pressure applied to the sensor. The joystick has on override control, so the operator can take over when there is no vegetation. The SOFT TOUCH 2 system ensures: • A constant leaf-removal rate (an unbroken swath of leaves on the ground). • Complete protection of the grape thanks to the responsiveness of the system. • Unparalleled driving comfort, with jolting eliminated without affecting the leaf-removal rate. EASY CLEANING The washing of the module is done very simply thanks to 2 opening flaps which give direct access to the suction area and to the turbine. Clogging of these is very limited, the leaves do not enter. The suction roller can also be removed without tools for intensive work.

PERFECT LOCALIZATION OF TREATMENT FOR LIMITED DRIFT OPTIMAL DISTANCE BETWEEN DIFFUSERS AND TREATED ROWS • Maintaining a correct distance between diffusers and vegetation is essential for the quality of the spraying. • With PELLENC double pendulum descents, the spacing between the diffusers and the plant foliage is adjustable in order to maintain perfect application quality, regardless of the planting width and the thickness of the vegetation. • Thanks to the pendulum descents attachment, this spacing is maintained over the entire treatment height in all sloping conditions.
ADAPTATION TO THE PLANT HEIGHT • Each diffuser has its own drip-stop valve and shutter to precisely adjust the working height. • In addition, the diffusers are adjustable to improve the precision of the treatment.
REDUCTION OF THE ZNT (ZONE NOT-TREATED) • A pproval has been obtained for each anti-drift nozzle type.
GROUND TRACKING • The EOLE ramp, equipped with ultrasound sensors, precisely follows the height and slope variations of the terrain: the descents always remain in front of the vine. • Tilt correction up to 30%. • Linked to the suspension ramp and descents, the ground tracking is smooth and uninterrupted. • The working height can be memorised with one click on the EASY TOUCH console.
THREE FANS ARE LOCATED AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO THE DESCENTS • Minimises pressure losses. • Improves the air flow regularity for homogeneous spraying quality.
