The business interconnection that exists in the Punic period between
the settlements of the low and middle courses of the Guadiana and Guadalquivir rivers
begins to be observed with the advance of the archaeological researches, as in Spanish
territory as in Portuguese one, and it includes the Cádiz, Huelva and Campiña Gaditana
regions. We try to show how the farming products which are obtained in the Campiña
Gaditana were exported to the Huelva and Algarve areas, where they were in great
demand.
