Dear Families, The beginning of the school year brings much excitement as we welcome our children and families. This year, the children will encounter the new play yard for the first time. We extend many thanks to Preschool dad, Chris Donnelly, for leading the efforts to complete the play yard. If you have a minute, we would love for you to stop by and experience this new space. When you come to the Preschool, you may also notice the renovations to the hallways and classrooms, as well as, some much-needed maintenance on the Outdoor Classroom. As many of you know, one of our flagship missions as a school is our Special Needs Inclusion Program. We are happy to announce we have brought this life-changing program in-house, and we are very excited about what the future holds. All of our inclusion teachers are now part of the Peachtree Presbyterian Preschool staff. Under the direction of Katie Troutman, this program is going to soar. We will now be able to manage all aspects of our offerings, do more for our inclusion families and control the expense of the program. That brings me to the third piece of great news: due to the staggering $175,000 raised from Springtime at Peachtree 2017, we have been able to offer several scholarships, as well as lower the cost of the inclusion tuition. There is life changing work going on because of your generous donations of time and money, and we may never know the amazing ripple effects of your generosity. Every year, the Peachtree community anticipates this evening of fellowship, fun and fundraising. This year Springtime at Peachtree will be held on April 13, 2018 – mark your calendars. With such a great start to the year, we look forward to being with you and your children throughout this school year. Best regards, Miss Jane
