Dear Parents, Well, the day has finally arrived! After too much time patiently waiting, demolition on the new play yard has begun. As noted previously, a number of important aspects with permitting had to be met prior to beginning construction. The new play yard will take approximately four weeks to complete. We share your disappointment that the play yard has taken this long and appreciate your continued understanding as we await completion. We plan to host an open house and afternoon play times to provide opportunities for families and children to explore the new space, talk to educators, and become acquainted with this play and learning area. I would like to commend our staff who have been steadfast in ensuring that the free play and outdoor needs of all children were met during the delay. We are grateful to our other stakeholders and contractors who are working toward a successful opening of this new space. Look for updates in the next few weeks.
