Dear Parents, Do you remember a teacher, parent or relative telling stories? Many of us have fond memories of stories that we heard as children. These days our families are much more complex and busy with little free time. With the constant presence of technological gadgets, the art of storytelling is disappearing.

Take some time this month to tell a story from memory to your child; it could even be a story about your childhood. There are so many advantages to storytelling for children, not only for literacy skills but also for instilling vaules. We look forward to seeing all our families on February 26 for our annual “Afternoon of Stories”.
