Because of you, we have a beautiful, newly remodled Cancer Care Wing and state-of-the-art equipment to help patients in their fight against cancer. We have many patients that need assistance and your donations help them during a very challenging time. You enable us to offer cancer diagnostic and treatment services to patients who cannot afford them, and to provide financial and practical support to patients in need. Often it is difficult to see how your generosity can ripple out and affect the lives of many people. I see it every day.

Remodel of 3 North Cancer Care Wing Thanks to you and other generous donors, more than $1.2 million was allocated in FY21 and FY22 to renovate PeaceHealth Southwest’s Oncology Inpatient Unit located on the 3rd floor of our North Tower.

The newly renovated unit includes modern, private rooms with new floors, improved lighting, beautiful and functional furnishings, safer bathrooms, and comfortable space for visiting loved ones.

Your generosity is providing a warm and healing space, giving strength to patients battling cancer. Thank you!

The Jaime Wyatt Miller Patient Assistance Program Through the Jaime Wyatt Miller Cancer Compassion Endowment Fund, PeaceHealth Southwest provided more than $94,000 to cancer patients in FY21 and FY22 to help alleviate their financial burdens so they can focus on their treatment. Listed below are just a few examples of how funds have been used:

The Elaine and Don Heimbigner Oncology Infusion Center Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Elaine and Don Heimbigner Oncology Infusion Center has new patient treatment chairs, curtains, a treatment hospital bed, chairs for the nursing staff and other updated equipment to improve processes and give caregivers more time with their patients.
