A
spectacular and challenging driving adventure takes us north on Hwy 33 to its junction with Hwy 166 and then a combination of back roads to Frazier Park. Along the way we’ll make a few stops for spectacular photo opportunities, shopping for pistachios at the farm stands, and marveling at the majestic peaks, the agricultural valleys, and the pine forests at elevations in excess of 6,000 feet. Most of all, take the challenge of S curves and straightaways that stretch as far as the eye can see. Hang on tight! We will meet at The Golden China Restaurant (southeast corner of Hwy 101 and Seaward in Ventura) at 8:30 a.m. and depart at 9:00. Lunch will be
at the Pine Mountain Club’s Condor Café. From there, connect with I-5 to return home. The fee for this event is $25, which includes lunch and the SBR activity fee. To take part, complete the coupon below and return as directed. No refunds after July 8, 2020. Do note that this tour is not for the faint-of-heart! Navigating this four-hour drive-time round-trip route will require full attention: the curves, the cliffs, the changes in elevation demand it. Please take this caution seriously.
