A NEW VISION FOR DRAMATIC, ARTISTIC, MUSICAL AND CULINARY EXCELLENCE

Palm Beach State College is experiencing a modern-day renaissance. By virtually every measure — applications, enrollment, completions, diversity, faculty-hiring and fundraising— Palm Beach State College has surpassed its previous accomplishments and cemented its place as the heart of Palm Beach County.
As a next phase of advancement, the College has envisioned a project positioned to dramatically elevate the aesthetic of the flagship Lake Worth campus, further integrate key scholastic programs into reimagined facilities, enhance the College’s reputation as a premier institution of higher learning and engage the community-at-large in its activities and future.
The redesigned Performing Arts Center showcases Palm Beach State College as a national leader in performing and culinary arts.
The new state-of-the art entrance to the College communicates the presence and impact of Palm Beach State College locally and state-wide. The contemporary Performing Arts building, home to the Watson B. Duncan III and Stage West Theatres, creates major donor engagement opportunities.
In addition to serving as essential hubs for teaching and learning, Palm Beach State theatres are self-sustaining entities. The Duncan Theatre covers its operating expenses through audience development and sponsorships, and programming adds an arts-based revenue stream to the overall College budget – a needed boost in these times of public funding cuts.
The reimagined Performing Arts Center significantly expands the visual, operational, aesthetic and philanthropic opportunitie of Palm Beach State College’s Lake Worth campus and its performing arts theatres, the Watson B. Duncan III and Stage West.
The new venue enhances the educational and community impact and scope for not only the Dramatic, Artistic and Musical programs but also Culinary Arts.
