MILITARY ADVANCED EDUCATION & TRANSITION

PBSC’s VA Work-Study Program allows student veterans to work while they pursue their academic and career goals.

According to one work-study student, “Having people at the Center to answer questions is a great advantage. While the VA is very helpful, the Center provides individual attention, which is really needed, especially for benefits that veterans may not have known were available to them. And simply having a place where vets can meet other vets is tremendous.”

The Ibis scholarship was a blessing as I’m the first in my family to attend college in over five generations. Words cannot sum up what a privilege and honor it is to have received this scholarship. Joseph, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran
