an old lady prays
68 I sit two rows back from the left the light streams in on the saint martyred for the Lord his presence never changing always accepting she stands up to leave stops and speaks to me I nod and smile, she smiles at me and leaves alone I pray for the old lady the long dead, and the ones to come.
